These are without question the sharpest knives out of the box that I’ve ever owned. It’s amazing that the Seido Blades didn’t cost more. They’re worth much more than you pay.

I purchased the 8 PC. Seido knife set and I am extremely happy with my new knives. The sharpness and quality are second to none. I really like the 7" Nakiri as well as the 7" Santoku knives. You will not regret purchasing these knives.

These knives rust way too easily. You have to towel dry them instantly after they get washed or they rust right away. Also, the handles loose their shiny look and now look dried out and old. I’ve had this set for two months. I’ve made several attempts to contact customer service and have gotten no response. Do not buy these knives.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of our product. We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the quality of our knives. We take all customer feedback seriously and are committed to providing the best products and customer service possible. Our products are made with high-quality materials and is designed to last for many years with proper care. We understand your concerns regarding the rust and loss of shine on the handles. Rust can occur on any metal item if it is not properly cared for, and we recommend drying the knives immediately after washing to prevent this from happening. Seido also recommends that you protect your knives by handwashing your blades and with gentle dish soap. We do not recommend washing the knives in the dishwasher. In addition, the handles are made of natural materials that can lose their shine over time, especially if they are not properly oiled and maintained. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced in trying to contact our customer service team. We strive to respond to all inquiries promptly and will investigate why we did not receive an email from your account. We stand by the quality of our products and offer a satisfaction guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us, and we will do everything we can to make things right. We appreciate your feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future.

In Time You’ll See these are not high quality knives. The higher the quality stainless steel, the less likely it is to rust. i have a high quality stainless steel knife. i’ve had it forever and no rust. After having Seido knives for less than 2 months they are getting rust spots. If you make sure to dry them well after washing then it won’t do that, but that’s something you wouldn’t have to worry about with an actual high quality knife. Also they look layered like a damascus steel but that pattern is just printed on the knife. It’s not an actual Damascus Steel. It says so in the description of you scroll to bottom of page but they certainly don’t make it obvious. Also these knives do not stay sharp long. After 2 uses of one knife it lost its sharp edge. The only reason these knives have good reviews is because they look cool and people are leaving reviews before using them often enough. Poor quality. Literally no better than the Walmart brand of knives. I’m not exaggerating. Save your money and go with a better brand. Also!!! the shipping took WAY longer than they said. Poor company

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of our knives. We're sorry to hear that you've had a negative experience with them. Regarding the rust issue, it's important to note that all knives, regardless of quality, require proper care and maintenance to prevent rusting. While our knives are made with high-quality stainless steel, if they are not dried properly after use, they can develop rust spots. We recommend ensuring your knives are thoroughly dried after each use, and storing them in a dry, moisture-free environment. As for the Damascus etching, we do state on the product page that our Master Series Collection have a laser-etched pattern and not an actual Damascus steel. However, we do have Damascus steel knives on our Damascus Collection. In terms of sharpness, it's important to note that all knives will lose their sharp edge with use, and generally, it's recommended to sharpen your knives at least every two weeks, though it depends on how often you use them. Our knives are made with high-quality materials and are designed to be long-lasting with proper care and maintenance. Regarding shipping, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the delay. Unfortunately, due to current shipping conditions, delivery times can be affected, and we understand how frustrating this can be. However, we always aim to provide our customers with the best possible service, and we hope you understand that these delays are outside of our control. If you have any further concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We appreciate your feedback and hope we can improve your experience with our knives.
