I ordered a Herman Miller Aeron B Semi chair on May 8th 2020. My chair arrived on June 13, about 5 weeks after I placed my order and multiple follow-up's. The chair I received was not in very good condition (hand rests look old and used heavily, Back Rest Mesh is not in good condition) . I want to return, but the return policy is very bad though the product is bad/damaged. You CANNOT cancel your order (there is no cancel order option on the website), They are not available on phone, If you are lucky to connect with them, they will not pay you in full. If you receive the product and would like to return, you will loose $150 ($99 as restocking fee and return shipping).

I ordered a Herman Miller Aeron B Semi chair on April 21, 2020. My chair arrived on June 13, about 7 weeks after I placed my order. The chair I received was not the chair I ordered. It had arms (not a big deal), but I had paid an extra $49 for Soft Rollerblade Casters and it instead had the standard casters. On top of that, it the casters had some wear and a few long strands of hair tangled inside. In addition, there was a good deal of dust around the feet of the chair. Maybe I received a floor model or slightly used. Not sure. I emailed a few times to inquire about the status of my chair. I always received a prompt response (24 hours) and the customer service representative was both polite and apologetic for the delay. On the plus side, they have excellent prices. -- Follow-up: received my Soft Rollerblade Casters in the mail and they were easy to install. Updating my rating to 3 stars because I think they are trying to do the right thing.

Very difficult company to deal with. We ordered our chair May 1st, have gotten no forward movement at all about shipping, They finally responded to my husband's email after multiple attempts to reach them. They said they would ship the chair yesterday. The DID NOT! My husband now emailed that if we don't see an actual shipment by Monday at noon, we will file a dispute with Paypal to get a refund. The company is refusing to offer us our money back, even though they are not shipping our chair, and have been delaying over and over. They even said filing a dispute would complicate things. Then why don't they just refund our money? Very frustrating. Don't use this company.

I placed order on May 16 and received chair on June 11. This was a little slower than what I expected but not unacceptable. Chair arrived easy to assemble. So far so good. Chair seems real nice

Placed order on May 9th, FEDEX tracking was initiated on May 12th. Sent messages on May 20th, and June 5th requesting order/ship status. Both times said they were checking and order still has not shipped. I've asked to cancel the order if the item is not in stock. Think I have been very patient, but at this point I may have to get Paypal involved to cancel the order as I have little reason to believe the order will be shipped and as that is how I paid for the order.

I guess I have to join the other seatingmind.com customers posting review here to warn their future customers: DO NOT DEAL with this company! I ordered an Aeron Chair on May 25th, still has not been shipped. I regret finding out the reviews too late... Try to follow their responses to prior reviewers by sending email to support@ seatingmind.com, received same BS but not provide any definitive shipping date. I'm going to dispute the charge via AMEX!!!

When you run a business you need to be up front with your customers. It has been over double the allotted time initially given to ship the chair. After a second inquire about the time frame of said chair, I received another "for sure" ship date. It has now reached that date and no update. Do not trust what the site says. If COVID is backing up deliveries, then the time frame needs to be updated, not ignored. I've now been working from home without a reasonable chair for an excess amount of time and my back issues are worsening. Truthful advertising would lost a sale, but would have kept my respect. Update: After providing this review and submitting a claim with PayPal, my shipment was sent out. It arrived today and was missing all of the upgrades that were supposed to be in my order. Again, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Update #2: This company really knows what they are doing on how to screw you out of money and/or product. They waited until I made a dispute with PayPal to send the partial item. Now, PayPal will deny the claim because there is shipping information. Now, you can't open a PayPal dispute for "The seller has delivered a different or defective item." The only responses that I have received from the company has been, "Please close your PayPal case and come back to us."​ Once PayPal denied the case due to the shipping information I got back from the company, "Glad to hear. Enjoy your chair," and "We’re sorry about your missing parts to your order. We can’t have the items shipped to you since you already filed dispute on your order." This is the more untrustworthy company I've ever dealt with in my life.

Adding my name to the list of customers who having been waiting for something to sit on during work from home orders. I was completely understanding of the COVID impact until I started looking at reviews from BEFORE the pandemic with the same theme of overly long wait times. I placed my order on May 6th and was charged immediately. Most companies charge when the item ships. When I emailed to request a status I got a response the next day promising it would ship within 5 business days. On the 6th business days I started googling reviews and now I’m really worried I’m out $350. I put in a cancellation request now that retail stores are open in my area and have heard nothing. #24824
