Appointment felt pressured
Appointment felt pressured, didn’t get all options until the end of the procedure Addition after reply: I’m not sure why you are telling me times I arrived when I’m not happy with how things were communicated during my appointment. I asked before the procedure started if I had other options and he said no. It wasn’t until he finished he then said I might need to get the filling replaced with another option. If it started with, this is an emergency appointment and a filling is all we can do but if you can wait you could also do this other option would have been more transparent and helpful. I also felt pressured because the shape wasn’t right for a few attempts and it felt like I was an inconvenience trying to get it right. I also explained I was sure my tooth had twisted, ignored Your response seems to be for the benefit of others reading rather than to understand my issue and address that

Dear Antonia Grey-James, naturally we are disappointed having read your review. From your records I can see you had fractured your upper front tooth, you called us at 8:40pm and were seen by the dentist at 10pm. The dentist restored the tooth for you with a definitive filling, the other options he discussed were to do nothing and leave the tooth as it is but this could result in pain and further complications if left untreated or have a temporary filling which the material used wouldn’t have been an exact colour match to your natural tooth so although functional wouldn’t have been as aesthetically pleasing. If you would like to discuss anything further please call myself or my colleague Jody on 0121 357 5000, Kind Regards Amy.
