30+ year customer of Schwan’s, now called Yelloh. Quality and customer service has greatly deteriorated since the takeover. We always buy the fudge pops, we found two very large, very sharp splinters on the sticks from our last two orders, different boxes. We also found a 1x 1/2 inch piece of silicone and a clump of inedible stems or something in the California Blend vegetables. I reported all of this to the company, they were “ very sorry “ and issued a credit for the fudge pops, but not the vegetables after two phone calls. This is extremely dangerous! If a child gets one of these big splinters, or swallows that silicone, it could be fatal. What used to be a highly reputable company is now terrible. They have raised the amount for free delivery to $69.99 when in the beginning it was always free, then it was free if you placed your order in advance. I had one of their snotty representatives tell me it was never free. It’s such a shame, our driver is great, but we will probably stop buying from them.

This review is for Schwans food delivery now known as Yelloh..... I have been a customer for four plus years. Today they canceled my order and I found out they have closed my local depot.... Gone...The End. This was after a week of emails about sales etc and I had a large order pending. No one ever bothered to tell me they are going away. The food was good, the drivers were great, but corporate policy is shamefully bad. Would you trust them to make sure the food is safe any more??? NO. The new owners do not care about quality or customer service or their staff, so do they care about food safety and quality? I doubt it.

I called them to come to me. I know the price. I order. I enjoy. I love my driver. The food is on point. Life is good. When I don't want it , I don't order. I wish they would bring the juice back!

The lady that delivers the products doesn't talk to us very much and she says she can't get us a catalog plus when someone says they don't want to order from her she tells them that they can't do that! This gal named Sonja when you put on the online page that you don't want her to stop she doesn't pay attention to it! Something should be done about it! She hasn't been on this route very long. Dylan was alot friendlier than she is. If you wanted anything he would get it for you and if you didn't want him to come out he would listen to the online page.

I tracked down the schwann truck today in our subdivision only to but ice cream....as I gave the driver my card he told me it was 20.56....FOR ONE 1.5 QUART OF ICE CREAM....I took it and asked why...he said ice cream..6.79...service fee 10.00....delivery fee 3.99....blue bell...1 gallon....4.99....period....dont even slow down at my house

I placed an online order large enough to avoid the delivery fee from Schwan's. In fact, their software prompts you to increase your order to avoid the delivery fee. That's reasonable and I did just that. Well, when the truck arrived, they only had half my order. That resulted in them charging me a delivery fee because they could not delivery my full order. I'm not sure if this is illegal, but it certainly is bad business. I used to be a regular customer and now will avoid them. Don in Manhattan, Kansas

I quit dealing with them after they started tacking on a $9.99 service fee with no explanation. I complained to them and got a limp, "Everybody is charging service fees these days." No response to the fact that they never notified anyone; they just surreptitiously tacked it on during the checkout process. They kept sending me emails and texts about ordering again, even after I cancelled their service. I saw their driver the other day and told him why I had quit, and he said he had lost half of his business due to poor management decisions and the additional service fee.

I have never complained before but.. I have been buying Schwan's for maybe 20 years. I recently bought Your Chicken Pot pies ( which I have many times) and I ate the first one and It tasted different and not like the old ones.. So tonight I tried it again.. YUK. I ate maybe less than Half and threw it in the garbage...I spend at least 50.00 or more every two weeks.. Now I am in a wonderment if I should continue.
