Charles SchwabReviews of schwab.com

Schwab allows ThinkorSwim chat admins to represent them in a negative light, but doesn't have any control over the platform stating that it is like a Facebook Group Page where the admins get to do whatever they want. Good Job Schwab. The lady who helped me close my account was nice though.

Schwab needs to get rid of their extra staff to be efficient. Schwab was a great company for years but became a service-terrible giant brokage/bank. To do a simple thing, like notarizing a Schwab document, at their retail branch, one has to make an appointment days ahead by calling their branch office while calling their branch office is never answered, even after leaving messages.

I have been banking with Schwab for over 10 years. Customer service has always been knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful until today. Something has changed, and I'm jumping off this ship before it sinks. They wouldn't approve a cash withdrawal for less than 2.5% of the total account value, with 10% of that being in cash. Something is really wrong with this bank not allowing a cash withdrawal and would not provide a reason. I spoke with a rude manager who offered a withdrawal of a lower amount, telling me to 'take it or leave it.' Well, I'm leaving. This was an awful experience for a long-time customer.

on oct 22nd 2023 the trading screens on schwab.com that i have u sed for 3 decades were down....not working at all... schwab insisted it was a clitch and i had to be patient.... i have the recording and the email.... i called on tuesday and was told within an hour i will be up and running...meanwhle he market fell both day.... by wed i was down and they said be patient yet again.... today on thursday when i lost more they admitted they PURPOSEFULLY AND KNOWINGLY SHUT DOWN THEIR SITE..... to force clients into their new sink or swim site.... this has to be illegal....it is immoral....i want a class action.... i will contact every agency i can..... they can not get away with this

I have been using Schwab for years now and they are great for personal banking and light investing. I personally really like that they refund ATM fees and the convenience of their robotrader.

I'd rather bang my head against the wall than deal with CS again. Customer service, if that's what you want to call it, is beyond frustrating. Agents are not consistent, nor do they know the workings of their own company. The most simple transaction is painstakingly difficult, as you will be told three different things by three different people. There are way more efficient institutions out there. Stay away from this one.

Why is it that Apps seem to get worse with time? I was a TD-Ameritrade customer, but thanks to M&A I'm now a Schwab customer. The Schwab App is Schit. It is slow. It is incredibly Linear. Maybe if you have just one account it's not so bad, but with 3 accounts, finding your info is a big hassle. The TD App was SO much better. It was fast, had the right info in the right places, and I could see all my accounts at once.

Wish we had more options for banks , Gate keepers that steal money from retail.
