DO NOT BUY - Trash Product and Trashier Customer Service
Update: I reached out to Satéur once again as they have “sincerely” suggested in their reply. It was yet another attempt to scam more money out of me. STAY AWAY from these scammers and report their posts on social media platforms. Original post: My experience with Satéur has been so disappointing that I feel obligated to warn other potential customers. I purchased a ring from Satéur in January and wore it only a handful of times. Despite such limited use, multiple stones fell out of the band, rendering the ring visibly damaged and unacceptable for normal wear. The condition of the ring strongly suggests poor craftsmanship and substandard quality control. What made matters worse was the company's response. After opening a support ticket, I was told I would receive a response within 48 hours. Instead, I heard nothing for over a week and had to chase them for an update myself. When a rep named Vinod Singh finally responded, he initially suggested that the missing stones were the result of "physical damage during use." This was both insulting and inaccurate. The ring was worn occasionally on a ring finger, not subjected to any unusual treatment. The implication that normal wear caused several stones to fall out is, in my opinion, an admission that the product was not built to last. After I challenged this assessment, the company backtracked and admitted they could not actually determine how the stones became detached. Yet despite acknowledging this uncertainty, they still refused to take responsibility for the defective product. Instead of offering a refund or complimentary replacement, I was repeatedly asked to pay additional fees: First $39 for a replacement. Then $29. Then $19. At no point was a full refund offered. At no point was a free replacement offered. At no point did the company genuinely accept responsibility for the ring's failure. The most frustrating part was receiving essentially the same canned response repeatedly, even after clearly stating that I was unwilling to spend another dollar on a product that had already failed. A reputable jewelry company stands behind its products. When a ring loses multiple stones after minimal wear, the customer should not be asked to pay again to correct what appears to be a quality issue. Based on my experience, Satéur's marketing significantly exceeds the quality of the product delivered, and their customer service appears focused on minimizing company costs rather than resolving legitimate customer concerns. I cannot recommend Satéur and would strongly caution anyone considering a purchase to read customer reviews carefully before spending their money. Product quality: 0/5 Customer service: 0/5 Resolution offered: 0/5 Overall experience: 0/5

Thank you for taking the time to write this — stones leaving a setting within months is not the standard we hold, and we're sorry your experience with our team made it worse rather than better. Every Satéur piece is covered by Lifetime Satéur Care, and we would like to repair or replace this ring properly. Please write to [email protected] and it will be handled as a priority.
