Everyone at Krikawa were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They kept me informed at every step in the decision making process, allowing me to feel like I made the best choice possible for the ring I chose. I recieved pictures at different stages of its development allowing me to see what it would look like. I highly recomend Krikawa to anyone who wants a one of a kind ring for their future bride and btw, she LOVES it!!

i have had a beautiful ring for years except the issue I ran into was when I asked to resize they said they could not resize palladium. i had no idea that I could not resize the palladium. the only solution is to remake the ring which to me just add another major expense. not ideal

We thank the consumer for raising her concerns. We want to acknowledge the inconvenience and disappointment regarding this experience, and we deeply apologize for any confusion or frustration. To clarify the context, over a decade ago, Krikawa crafted a custom rose and ribbon eternity band engagement ring in platinum for the consumer. Upon receiving the ring, the consumer then expressed a preference for a lighter-weight material, and we remade the ring in palladium at no additional charge. The palladium ring had been in the consumer’s possession for 10 years without issue, until 2021 when she asked us to sell the ring on consignment as a pre-owned item. After two years of no interest in the item, the consumer requested that the ring be made a full ring size larger to fit her finger. It is important to note that the ring does not suffer from any defect. Palladium can and is often be resized without incident. However, when there are certain specific features like the eternity design style of this ring, combined with a request for an extreme size change, from a professional opinion, resizing is impracticable. Such determinations are made on a case-by-case basis. For this particular ring, we provided an option to cut and laser-weld new material into the ring or to grind the ring up at our rate for of 6 labor hours. The consumer was advised of the cost of such repair work and informed that cutting the ring would disrupt the eternity design feature. We also recommended regular check-ups on the repairs after a resize and offered a limited warranty on this intricate work. We advised that grinding the ring may not achieve a full ring size, as we didn’t want the ring to become thin. The consumer declined these options, instead requesting a permanent solution without altering the original design. We then presented the alternative of crafting a new ring in her current size in 14k White Gold or 14k Rose Gold, providing a full trade in allowance of the used, 10 year old setting. However, creating another new ring free of charge was simply not viable for us. The consumer's original ring has been returned to the consumer. At this time, we will not be able to accommodate the consumer's request for a free ring.

Some people will take the time to write a strongly worded negative review about poor service that they received, but very few will spend their time expressing their thoughts when things go right and I'm talking about listing more detail than just a 5 star review and two words saying "Great Service!". In a nutshell, I had a to file a claim with Jeweler's Mutual. The process was AWFUL and I DON'T recommend using them unless you just enjoy being extremely irritated and like to drag things out for 6+ months - your choice - I don't have a horse in this race. Moving on, I wanted Krikawa to modify an existing piece from their catalog and we started the process with the insurance company. I know a lot of back and forth took place with the insurance company, on Krikawa's side as well as mine. My patience was worn thin, but Krikawa never showed any signs of annoyance. During this time, I dealt with Elle and Mica - Both were an absolute pleasure to speak with during this process. When we reached obstacles with the insurance company, LeCarie was there to smooth things out and ensure that we were back on track. Krikawa was phenomenal with keeping me up to date on the status of the claim and ring production and they were extremely patient with me as I threw question after question at them regarding all aspects of the ring design and fitment. To make things even more difficult on their end, I needed the ring by a certain date. They were able to complete the ring far before the deadline. The presentation of the ring in their custom box was stunning and it was honestly the most beautiful ring I had ever seen. A few days after receiving the ring, I called them up to ask for an extra personal request. LeCarie and I discussed what my desire was and I sent it back knowing that she would be able to make it happen. A week later, I received the ring back and was overjoyed to see that they were able to do exactly what I had requested and although I had offered to pay for this extra service, there was no charge. Although insurance basically paid for 95% of ring, what Krikawa did for me was more than just provide an immaculately designed ring that I will be wearing until I leave this planet. They proved to me that they truly are custom jewelers (I've had bad experiences with other so-called "custom" jewelers in the past). They went above and beyond what a customer would expect. They showed that they truly care about what they do and this was reflected with every email and phone call during the entire process and it was definitely reflected in their craftsmanship and attention to detail. As a shaman, psychic and energy healer, I can feel energy and I KNOW what went into the creation of this ring. It's because of these things that I no longer have any desire to try to find another custom jeweler because I know that whatever my future requests are, they can do it or they'll figure out a way to do it. They have my business for life.
