Montego Bay: You have to tip to get your bags to the bus, you have to tip to get on the bus. Our room temp control unit did not work, some lights did not work, no fan in the room (the pic showed it did) the drinks at the bar were horrible, the people are not nice. They called to change the room. We packed the waited an hour they they call and said about changing the room. I went to the front desk then finally changed the room. THEY COULD HAVE CARED LESS, but wanted me out of there. The were out of ham, pepperoni the whole week for certain dishes. No hair dryer in the room for 4 days. Took 2 days to make up the room and restock the fridge. Not clean compared to St. Lucia. NONE of the hot tubs worked properly, No shower by the main pool worked at all. So no showering to get in the pool. No notice on what to do when we were leaving. ATTIDUDES FROM MOST!

Treat your staff fairly and well, it shows how over worked staff is. Royal Barbados is a prime example of Management getting rid of staff that is quite clearly needed and required. Endless waiting time everywhere with stressed staff. Customers should not pay 5 star prices to receive 3 star at best

We visited Sandals Barbados in 11/24. Our family had a bad experience. They were overbooked and downgraded our rooms for several days. You would expect a refund for the difference but they would only give us a credit that had to be used at their shops. T-shirts are $50-70 at their shops so it was a wasted attempt at goodwill. The resort rooms are very tired with stained furniture, cracked tile in bathrooms and moldy smells. On the plus side the grounds are very nice. Many go to Sandals for the food but at this location there isn’t enough dining capacity so guest are left to wander the property searching for a place they can get something to eat. Only a couple restaurants take reservations and those are mostly all booked up for the week when you arrive on your first day. The service in general is very poor with towel shortages and indifference being the attitude of most staff and managers. You can complain to management but it doesn’t change anything. We went days without fresh towels. We won’t be booking any more trips to Sandals.

Poor service , waiting hours for room to be ready sat in lobby, unhelpful staff. Would not recommend spending the money a lot nicer holidays out there for the money with better service ,better quality of food.

Booked a Club Level Room at Barbados back in February. Due to arrive on the 20th November to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. Received an email 6 days before travel advising that they couldn’t accommodate us. This is the worst customer service I have ever received. They do not deserve to be in business dealing with customers like that. This was a trip we have planned for years, luckily we have managed to get booked in at another hotel or we would have lost the full cost of our flights from the UK. We were offered a room at their hotel in St Vincent, however we booked Barbados as that is where my Wife particularly wants to go NOT another Island!!

I am extremely disappointed with Sandals for cancelling my booking with only 4 days' notice, despite having made the reservation 10 months ago. This trip was meant to celebrate my 30th wedding anniversary, it was meant to be a trip of a lifetime and we booked a suite and upgraded our experience due to the nature of our celebration . We received a call yesterday with just 4 days to go to advise us that Sandals had cancelled our booking. Sandals have offered us a voucher for the value of our holiday , that's good of them ! with 4 days notice we have no chance of booking anything other than a basic level of room at a location we did not want to choose. This is the second time that Sandals have done this to me. I find their complete disregard for the impact of their actions to be very disheartening and they seem to advertise themselves as a luxury brand and do not even have the most basic level of customer service or decency. I hope they take steps to improve their booking process and customer service to prevent this from happening to others in the future. If you can not honour a booking for whatever reason you should be finding an alternative at the same level as that already purchased. I suspect they over sold my room and then decided to cancel mine as it was booked so long ago I got a better deal. Shame on Sandals - do not spend your money with this company

Rubbish company..Designed for obese yanks with 0 class and etiquette..Resorts are equivalent to 2 star all you can eat buffet. Stay away and don't waste any money.

Absolutely horrible service all around. We were told our room would be ready at 12:30pm it wasn’t we had to wait over two hours. We got the honeymoon package which was never in our room when we arrived. Then when they came with it the girl walked right into our room as my husband was changing… total lack of respect or privacy. Our bathroom door and safe in the room didn’t work. We went to complain they said they would move us to a new room. This room is smaller than the room we were in and is in the same building where on the first day here the elevator didn’t work. Then we booked excursions that were canceled due to rough waters we were never told till the time we were supposed to leave. Then were told all they could give us was a refund and they couldn’t get us on any other excursions. We went to make reservations for dinner when we arrived and they had none.
