went to Antigua they gave us a catamaran ride promo when we got there due to political motorcades our trip to Shirley heights was changed from Sat to Thursday on Thursday we had our catamaran ride so we had to change it not our choice it was changed to the day we had other activities planned so we lost out on that promo for our anniversary. SO HEAR ME NOW SANDALS HAS A SCAM ABOUT THEM IF YOU PAY YOUR TRIP IN FULL WAY BEFORE DUE DATE YOU ARE NO LONGER ELIGIBLE FOR THE PROMOS SO LEAVE A BALANCE IF YOU WANT THE PROMO. SANDALS IS NO FIRST CLASS DESTINATION SO DONT LOOK FOR FIRST CLASS SERVICE YOU WILL NEVER EVER GET IT!!!!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WE DID ANTIGUA LAST YEAR BAHAMAS THIS YEAR AND BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T DISCLOSE THE FACT IF YOU PAY IN FULL NO PROMO IS ELIGIBLE!!!! I WANTED TO GO TO CURACAO AND GRENADA STILL GOING JUST NOT STAYING AT A SANDALS RESORT AGAIN. SO I HOPE YOU ,SANDALS ARE OK WITH THIS AS ALL COULD HAVE SAVED FACE BY HONORING THE $300 CATAMARAN RIDE. IN THE END IT COST YOU $20,000 $10,000 FOR THE 2 FUTURE SANDALS DESTINATIONS I WILL NOW BOOK WITH SOME PLACE ELSE MORE HONORABLE AND GEARED TOWARDS MAKING THE GUESTS HAPPY NOT THEMSELVES

**DO NOT BOOK Sandals La Toc
**Sandals La Toc – deeply disappointing stay, serious concerns and promises still unfulfilled**
We booked Sandals La Toc expecting a luxury holiday. Instead, we experienced repeated problems with hygiene, food, staff conduct and maintenance, followed by promises of reimbursement that have still not been honoured since returning home.
My wife is pregnant, and we are Muslim. Despite explaining our dietary requirements, these were repeatedly disregarded. At the omelette station, the same cooking surface and utensils were being used for plain omelettes and meat, including pork. When my wife raised this, there was no apparent effort to address her concerns.
Even after management became involved and attempts were supposedly being made to put things right, **my wife was then served pork by a butler**. After everything we had already explained, this was particularly upsetting and destroyed our confidence that our concerns were being taken seriously.
I also specifically ordered Heineken Zero and was served an alcoholic drink instead. We do not drink for religious reasons, so this was another serious failure.
Staff called us “boring” for not drinking, despite us explaining that we are Muslim and my wife being visibly pregnant. **We also heard staff at SOY making racial remarks**, which we found offensive and completely unacceptable. Although some staff were pleasant, these experiences badly affected our stay.
Food hygiene was another major concern. We saw flies and bugs landing and crawling on food, and birds eating from plates and food in the buffet area. We raised the insect issue with staff three times and were met with shrugs rather than meaningful action.
We were initially placed in the wrong room and moved after complaining, only to find bugs throughout the replacement accommodation, including around the sink and next to the bed. We also saw cockroaches on multiple occasions during our stay.
Building or renovation work directly below our accommodation produced strong paint or chemical smells, which made my pregnant wife feel sick. This was not the relaxing environment we had paid for.
At Pavilion, we waited around an hour for dinner. When we spoke to the manager, there was no apology. The food arrived approximately ten minutes later, but the order was wrong. When it was brought out again, it was still wrong. Around four other tables were also complaining that evening.
The sunbeds were visibly dirty, and multiple pieces of gym equipment were broken or unusable. A functioning gym was one of the reasons we chose this resort, so this was a real disappointment. We also found older TripAdvisor reviews mentioning similar gym problems, which made us question how long these issues had been left unresolved.
**To be clear, we did ultimately stay at the resort because of what was offered to us in an attempt to put things right.** That does not mean the problems disappeared or that we were satisfied with our experience. Felius and Emma directly promised that we would be compensated for the Airbnb costs. We relied on that assurance when agreeing to stay.
**Since landing back home, they have gone silent. We have received no reimbursement for the Airbnb, no refund and no resolution.** Being given assurances while at the resort, only to be left without a response afterwards, has made an already disappointing experience even worse.
We gave Sandals La Toc opportunities to address our concerns. Some efforts were made, but serious failures continued, including my wife being served pork after our dietary requirements had already been raised.
For a resort marketed as luxury, the experience fell far below our expectations. The hygiene concerns, disregard for our religious requirements, racial remarks and failure to follow through on direct promises mean we cannot recommend Sandals La Toc.

Cowboys!!AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL company
Cowboys!!AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL company. I had to cancel my dream holiday due to finances and i have been chasing the last part of the refund as believe it or not they cannot refund all of your booking on the original payment method. I have been waiting weeks for a check that never arrived, to then be asked for details and waiting and waiting to be asked again for bank details and told it will speed things up. It hasn't so now i am spreading the word to NOT book with this company and book through an agent that doesnt operate like a cowboy trader.

Do not buy the insurance from Sandals
Do not buy the insurance from Sandals. For trip coverage. The coverage is only for vouchers to return. Our flight was canceled twice and then the room was not available. Canceled the entire trip and now I cannot get my money back. Buy your insurance at another site. Seems like they are partner on the Sandals website.

We had to cancel our vacation to South…
We had to cancel our vacation to South coast for December 23 to January 2. I had paid $9400. , a little at a time. I was told my refund would be sent within 10 business days. After waiting 3 weeks I called and they told me no worries, they called the reservation office and said it would be sent the next day. I waited another 2 weeks and called again. This time I was sent only $8000. and no more. Beware when making reservations with Sandals. They are a bunch of thieves who will not refund all of your money.

Sandals Royal Bahamian- issues and terrible management response
We chose Sandals Royal Bahamian largely for the private pool suite experience, but our stay was one of the most disappointing resort experiences we have had.
The private pool was unacceptable. The water quality and condition raised immediate concerns, including visible algae growth and even live tadpoles in the pool (see photos). For a resort charging a premium for these accommodations, this reflected a troubling lack of inspection, maintenance, and basic quality control.
NOTE FOR THOSE WITH FOOD ALLERGIES. A separate and equally serious issue involved food allergies. Despite clearly disclosing our allergies before arrival and again at the resort, our butler twice delivered food containing those allergens. Allergy mistakes are not minor inconveniences—they can be serious health and safety issues. Guests with food allergies should be extremely cautious.
What made the experience even worse was Sandals' response. We raised these concerns during our stay and again after returning home. Rather than taking meaningful ownership of the issues, Sandals largely dismissed our concerns. The only resolution offered was a modest discount on a future stay, conditioned upon signing a broad NDA preventing us from discussing our experience.
Problems can happen at any resort. Algae, maintenance failures, and service mistakes can be addressed. What is far harder to overlook is a company's unwillingness to take responsibility when those failures occur. Between the condition of the private pool, repeated allergy-related mistakes, and the lack of meaningful accountability afterward, we cannot recommend Sandals Royal Bahamian—especially at its premium price point.

Luxury to Letdown - Failed 50th Birthday
During my wife’s 50th birthday trip to Sandals Halcyon Beach St. Lucia, we experienced a profound decline in service. This was the second time we vacationed at Sandals Halcyon Beach. The first time, several years ago, was amazing. That is why my wife wanted to spend her 50th birthday there. Prior to our trip I had meticulously submitted requests through their butler portal months in advance to make the occasion special. Yet, upon arrival, no butler greeted us, no formal welcome was given. We sat in the reception area for 30 minutes before Learie, our butler, finally showed up with two glasses of warm champagne and no room keys. It was getting late and we had not eaten dinner yet, so we went to the restaurant while Learie tried to figure out the key and luggage issue. For some reason our room keys were left in our room by our butler while we were at the restaurant, leaving us locked out until we had to return to reception. He knew we were at the restaurant. Not sure why he didn't bring the keys to us. We finally got into our room after 9 pm. However, our luggage was not in our room. Our butler did not know where our luggage was at. Our luggage was finally delivered close to 10 pm. I asked our butler if he knew why were at the resort. He replied that we were there with a corporate group. I just shook my head no. He then stated that we were there for our anniversary. I said no. That confirmed that my notes were not read. The specific drinks I requested were not in the room. There was a fruit tray left in the room (I did not request) many hours before we arrived. The ice was melted and the fruit was covered with ants. Throughout the rest of our stay so many other things went wrong. Reservations were not made or incorrect. Our planned lunch on my wife's birthday was so messed up that we did not have lunch on our lanai at 12:30 pm as planned. Instead, we walked to the snack bar at 3:30 pm. Food quality had definitely declined. Shockingly, we were offered reward points if we agreed not to share our experience publicly. After a decade of loyalty, we canceled two upcoming Sandals trips. We will never vacation at Sandals again. Despite completing their survey and requesting corporate follow-up, no one contacted us. I can no longer recommend Sandals, as it no longer justifies its premium pricing. It’s clear that Sandals has lost their focus on guest experience, which once defined their brand. What was once a symbol of luxury and exceptional hospitality now feels like a company that has drifted from its mission, leaving loyal guests behind. On a positive note, I do want to say that three bartenders, Kareem, Waynette and Kayla provided exceptional service. They were very professional and always smiling.

The food was horrible first off
The food was horrible first off. For the money it cost you would think you might have a decent meal. We went st Lucia regency la toc. If you don’t want to get in the ocean and the pool then I would suggest going. Looking for a nice tropical vacation could spend the same or less in other places. Every time you go to the beach you are getting panhandle for cocaine, weed, and excursions.
