I purchased the Samebike CY 20 folding electric bike for shorter journeys and to try and reduce my use of my Volt electric bike.( a lot more expensive but superb quality from the UK) It was well packaged and it arrived without damage. Easy to put together Got it built up and battery charged. It did not work , no power to the motor or handlebar controller. Contacted Samebike ,waited a while and the initial replies were insulting ie have you put the key into the battery. Have you switched it on. My hobby is restoring classic cars and at first I did not want to do any investigation work in case it invalidated the warranty. But I did and thankfully it was only a slack terminal in the control module or what ever Samebike call it ( under the battery) I’ve had a couple of runs out on it and it’s ok for the price I paid. Battery life is nothing like claimed and the brakes compared to my Volt hydraulic brakes are a bit frightening until you get used to braking a lot earlier . Time will tell whither or not it is reliable long term but it was not purchased to cycle from John of Groats to Lands End.

They offer a bike with aluminum frame, but send a steel frame instead. It's heavier. Don't trust them saying the bike is low weight. After they ask you to pay the returning back delivery as it was their fault to support wrong product. I'm very disappointed. Don't buy from same bike.eu

Bought an LOTDM200-II in August of 24, bike worked fine until February of 25 that's when the issues started, first of all it was the front light, took about a month speaking to them to send a replacement, that didn't fix the issue so after another month they sent a new controller, this fixed the error 10 message but the cycle assist didn't work, then had about 2 months of it working but with no pedal assist, then more issues with communication errors, was sent a new wiring loom, that didn't fix the issue and have now been sent a new throttle which I've fitted and still getting Error 10 messages on the HUD, customer service is atrocious and I honestly think they have no idea what the issue is, DO NOT BUY FROM SAMEBIKE, will just waste your money and time

First of all the delivery company gave me a date and a two hour window and never turned up.Then I receive a message two days later saying you are next on delivery it turns up within 10 minutes know one being home luckily I contacted a neighbour in time. On putting the bike together was impressed liked the look of it until I charged it and turned it on to receive a 01 error message with the bike controller issue brilliant just what you need. Hopefully I will here back from same bike with a solution or refund but not impressed so far

Esperienza pessima si è bruciato il motore nel mozzo ed è introvabile tutti i meccanici contattati mi dicono di buttarla la ditta dopo qualche anno non produce più questo motore quindi non ci sono ricambi è una bici usa e getta spendete un po di più ma acquistate prodotti conosciuti non queste cinesate

Ich habe mich für ein „Premium Quality Bike“ von Samebike entschieden – das RS-A02. Schon bei der Lieferung: - Tretfrequenzsensor defekt - Lackschäden am Rahmen - teils lebensgefährliche Schrauben nicht angezogen Nach 140 km der erste Totalausfall: Der Sensor löst sich von selbst – und ab diesem Moment begann ein endloses Mail-Pingpong (aktuell 28 Mails). Statt einer Lösung kamen nur scheinheilige „Tipps“ wie „Sensor drehen“ oder „bitte noch ein Video schicken“ – obwohl der Fehler bereits auf dem ersten Foto klar zu erkennen war. Über zwei Wochen nach Meldung des Garantiefalls habe ich immer noch: ❌ kein Ersatzteil ❌ kein fahrbereites Bike Und leider ist der Sensor nicht das einzige Problem: Marketing vs Realität „4-Kolben 203 mm High-Performance“ vs einfache Zoom FS-4 OEM-Bremsen 203-mm-Rotor vorne vs unbehandelter Billigrotor – nach einer Bergabfahrt durch Hitze verzogen „Premium-Setup“ vs Kolben reagieren asynchron, Sattel muss ständig neu zentriert werden 👉 Optisch Performance – technisch Kompromiss. Wenn der Kundendienst schon bei einem 10-Euro-Teil so chaotisch reagiert, möchte ich nicht wissen, wie Samebike bei einem ernsthaften Defekt reagiert. Fazit: - Minderwertige Qualität hinter großem „Premium“-Label - Offensichtlich kein echter EU-Kundendienst - Langsamer, widersprüchlicher Support - Verantwortung wird konsequent auf den Kunden abgeschoben Nach 28 Support-Mails und > 2 Wochen Wartezeit steht mein Bike immer noch defekt in der Ecke. Leider nicht empfehlenswert.
