I had trouble programming my two T50 chicken doors so I reached out to the Support team. Their email was easy to understand and provided me with precise steps on how to reprogram. It worked the first time! I’ve had both of my doors for almost 3 years now, and I always been very satisfied with the performance and ease of instruction.

My chicken door wouldn’t work at all and Emily had me try a couple things to get it to work but nothing worked. She determined it had an internal problem couldn’t be fixed. She offered a new unit at a reduced cost and I purchased it. Thank you very much!

I have had two Run-Chicken doors for about 4 years. I have one on my coop leading out to their run, then one on the run allowing them out to the yard. I use the timer option rather than the light sensor as the area where the coop/run is located is rather shaded and I have to change the timer with the seasons. For years I have had no problem changing the timer. Then I switched from an android to an iphone and downloaded the new Run-Chicken app on my phone. All of a sudden I could not change the timer. I even tried using my old phone and app thinking it would help. After multiple frustrating attempts and failures I sent an email to Run-Chicken.com voicing my quandary that opened with "WTF." Emily responded quickly with a simple fix with a link that worked perfectly. She was professional and so easy to work with. I even apologized for my "WTF" opening, and she was not rattled at all. At the end of the day it was user error (it usually is with me) and now my doors are functioning perfectly. Emily was awesome and after 4 years of exposure to the elements, both doors are working like they were on the first day. Love this product and the customer service is OUTSTANDING. Terrible, overpriced products. I have the t50 door and it’s impossible to program. I had to reprogram it for daylight savings time and it’s not registering the correct time and the process to program it is the absolute worst. I also have the feeder, the amount of feed my chickens waste is unreal. I reached out to customer service and they recommended I put a piece of wood in the bottom to “block the flor of food”. For the amount of money I paid for these products I would expect them to function better.

We have had the product for over a year with no issues until recently. We started having issues trying to reset the door settings after the time change and emailed for help. They were prompt and helped us get it reprogrammed quickly.

After buying a few cheap doors I decided to go with these guys as the average cheap doors only lasted a few months. Anyway the door was great , nice and strong , reliable tec, didn’t drain the batteries too quick , all good .6 months later the motor went. Dammit I thought , that’s another door needed BUT how wrong was I ? A quick email to the guys , 3 days later a whole drive section arrived and I’m back in business , top notch

Buyer Beware, not the greatest for your chickens. For one they want you to install on outside of coop, and it has a button that raccoons can push to get in.. killed whole flock. Also, after the first winter all of the paint peeled from door and warped, and your chickens will eat the paint. I spent over 300 for the XL and they did nothing. Again, even though they said they are replacing, they are not. Not only the product fails, they have horrible customer service.

I had an issue with the app not reprogramming my door. I emailed them and they gave me a solution that worked perfectly. It is an older door that has seen its share of weather and chickens so I was content with having to buy another one. But, I didn't have too! Thank you!
