It is awonderfull gadget for our chikens I don’t need to worry if the door is open or closed .

I've been using the T50 for about 4 years now. It simplifies the chicken experience so we can rely on them getting in and out on a regular schedule. We use the GPS mode so it opens and closes based on sunrise/sunset for our area. You can also set it to a certain time, if that's your preference. The app has been updated from when we first bought our door, and I do find the new app to be a nice improvement. Their customer service is top notch. Even 4 years on, they will take the time to promptly answer any questions or address any concerns. I was having trouble programming the door again after a recent battery change, and they worked with me to make sure I was able to get things right. Once I had it programmed, they followed up to make sure I was satisfied and to ask if I had any other questions or concerns. You won't find that kind of customer service very often - they deserve 10 stars for that!!

I loved these doors! Recommended them and bought multiple. But now that my doors being the older models dont work program wise since I cant do anything but manually open and close the door. I love the doors but I cant afford buying another turkey door and chicken door. Especially at $300. Looking for a new company that won't drop the older models.

Bought a little over 2 years ago, worked as it should until it didn't. Unit quit working. I changed batteries, cleaned the battery contacts, nothing. Not impressed with the quality or longevity.

I wanted to love these doors, which is why I waited a full year before writing this review to give them a fair shot. Unfortunately, I have had nothing but non-stop issues since day one. Stupidly, I bought 5 of these all at once before testing a single unit out. Setup was an absolute nightmare from the start—the included instructions were for an older model, and getting the doors to connect felt impossible. I’d try for days with no luck, and then out of nowhere, a door would randomly connect on its own. But the biggest issue is reliability. If you ever try to customize settings beyond the factory defaults—like changing open/close times or selecting sunrise/sunset options—the system bugs out. The doors will randomly close on their own at arbitrary times during the day. Just this morning, I adjusted the opening time on one door while leaving the closing setting untouched on "sunset" (where it had been set since day one). Later, I found my flock locked out of their run, away from their food, water, and shelter. When I checked the app settings, the closing time had mysteriously altered itself to 11:45 AM on its own! This happens frequently, forcing me to babysit 5 automatic doors daily, completely defeating the entire purpose of buying automatic coop doors in the first place. To make matters worse, when I contacted customer support, they refused to acknowledge this as a recurring system bug. Their only "solution" was telling me to perform a factory reset every time it happens. Constantly factory resetting five doors is completely unsustainable. For how expensive these units are, this level of performance and customer service is unacceptable. Save your money and look elsewhere. Do not recommend.

We have a chicken door that we love from here but most recently we got a cute chicken sign that I hung on the outside of the coop - it’s such a fun touch! Everyone always compliments it and it’s just makes it a little unique! Also, I have talked to the person that runs their IG chat and they are so kind!

I am absolutely thrilled with RUN-CHICKEN! Both the build quality and the reliability of their automatic coop doors and the feeder are top-tier. The feeder operates extremely reliably in daily use—you can immediately tell these products are thoughtfully designed for everyday chicken keeping. ​I’d also like to give a special shoutout to their support team: Communication is extremely friendly, fast, and helpful.
