It's been many years since I have sought counseling. The first thing that impressed me was the fact that she called ahead of the scheduled interview time to introduce herself. Once our actual meeting time was scheduled, she was punctual, attentive and empathetic to my needs. It felt like I was talking to an old friend who was imparting lots of wisdom.

I was paired with a rather troubling therapist who came in with her own agenda, ignoring my concerns and encouraging me to act in ways I expressed were harmful to me, had trouble understanding my clear words and felt disconnected.

Sonia was friendly, funny, open, honest and empathetic to my daughter’s concerns. She and I look forward to speaking with her in the future. I have also referred her to my friend for her daughters.
