My therapist truly gets it.

I would give them one star, but the therapist I found there is five stars. (Which of course has nothing to do with Rula. They just got lucky with a good hire.) They verified my insurance and told me I would pay $50/session. This is already a lot of money for me, but I know therapy is an important investment for me and my family. I had two sessions, which were wonderful because I found a therapist I feel really good about, which historically has been really difficult for me. But after the second session, I found out I had to pay an additional $100 PER session. So instead of $100, I am now being asked to pay $300–after the fact. Then when I emailed to dispute the charges, I was told I should have verified with my insurance. Excuse me? Why do I need to verify if Rula has already verified? They also told me they needed to pay the therapist, as if my intent was to not pay the therapist. My intent was to hold them accountable for being misleading and to pay for the charges that are triple what they told me they would be. I’m familiar with IC work and am not an idiot that thinks they are just an intermediary that has no extra money to pay their therapists.

I was hesitant to continue finding mental health support for my issues. I changed my approach to support, and I was astonished at the excellent level of tailored support I received.

I didn’t get a feeling of friendliness from her. She seemed kind of distracted from what I was saying. And wanted to focus on my relationship with my wife. I have had head trauma and was in a coma for a long time. (6 months in the hospital). During that time my ex-wife left me and filed for divorce. I was very sick and trying to recover from my head/brain injury. But this trauma wasn’t discussed.

Love this service my therapist is partnered with. Easy to connect with my therapist… lots of notifications to stay on top of it all… and easy to communicate with Rula with anything billing/insurance related.

I found a therapist that I trust and feel safe with.
