This review is for Rover’s customer service. Their response time is very very long. Their replies are standard and do not provide any help. It took 1 month to resolve a case and now I have been waiting for 3 weeks on another case. I have completely lost faith in their customer service. It makes me wonder if they will help if anything serious happens or if my cat is in a dangerous situation.

I have met really lovely and sincere dog sitters. Through this app. Rover helped me find sitters in an area difficult to meet people otherwise .

quinn came and took care of my 2 boy cats just like she said she would , sent me pictures i found her very resposible and the cats responded to her . i will use her again. thank you

This is purely based on their customer service. I have been trying for almost two hours to resolve a pricing issue with my booking. I’m a very consistent repeat user. I’ve had some lovely sitters (some, not as much)— so it’s not the service alone, but this awful customer service experience is why I’ll no longer be booking. But my second attempt to resolve this has taken from 3:40-5:30 and there is roughly 5 minute lags in responses from this customer service rep. I’ve had two reps since this chat finally started after an hour wait time. Their system has caused a pricing issue after I included a two day reservation, each with different pick up and drop off times. I assumed the system would price it based off of the timeframes. But it registered as boarding, even though I’m picking up my dog on the first day and dropping him off the second day. Why am I being charged overnight rates when I’m picking my dog up at the end of both dates? It’s been so tedious to say the least. It’s now been 10 minutes since I’ve gotten a response in this text box and I’m now abandoning it at 5:33 because I have to prepare for my trip and I think two hours investment is sufficient for a technical error. What if something were to happen to my pet in someone’s care or I was unable to contact my sitter? Is this the unresponsive manner I’d have to deal with? Seems like the “support” I thought I’d get vs. paying my sitter outside of this app doesn’t exist.

Great way.to find super wonderful pet care people. Our precious babies must have the best care and Rover gets it for us.
