Beware of this service! Though a majority of people seem to have been lucky much to my surprise. I have been on Rover for about 3 months and have only had very bad experiences. I have had sitters cancel on me again and again without any consequence to them. Having to cancel engagements or rearranging everything last minute. Hours and hours of searching and discussions and payments and reimbursements. It’s been a literal nightmare that I do not wish on anyone.

Unfortunately, We had a very bad experience this time. Our Caregiver / home sitter left our poor dog alone 8 out of the 14 days. ( security system confirmed ) She was gone from 14-24 hours. The instructions were for her to live at our house. Feed and potty our dog every 4 hours during the day. We had used Theresa 3 times before through Rover and felt comfortable. Now we have lost trust.

The sitter that we hired is fantastic - 10/10!! But the site is lousy. It is unclear and not easy to use. And I got multiple nasty messages from the support staff!

Jason was great taking care of our dog, Harley while we were on a vacation. He and his family love dogs and it worked out super for us.

They make it very easy to find quality pet sitters. Once I even needed to find someone very last minute for an emergency and it worked out splendidly. It really helped to alleviate a bit of stress in an otherwise extremely stressful situation.

Had a wonderful experience with our pet sitter while we were out of town. She would let pups in and out few times each day and would spend time with them each visit. Sent us pictures and updates each day!

When I went out to Rover to look for a dog walker, I was provided with a list of people to choose in my area. Each person had a rating from people who used that individual. With that information I chose a dog walker I felt would have a good connection with my dog, she also lived in a very close proximity to my house, which was a plus for me. Jessicah is wonderful and my dog loves her. After this experience with Rover I would recommend the service to all pet people. Rover keeps you updated with the schedule, pet report cards, and the charges for that week’s service.
