Rover is easy to use and it is easy to find someone to walk my dog. This site is great!

Too hard to navigate
Too hard to navigate. Also, I want to meet my dog sitter before actually having them come and home sit with my pet. There is no way to message them without sitting up a booking. I had to put in a fake booking just to say I want to meet them. When I did this I received an email from Rover warning me that I have to set up through rover or risk being suspended. Please do better and work on this.

I joined the company to offer my services. Rover charges 20% commission for you to promote their business to the people of our database. That percentage should serve for marketing and promotion to attract new clients.

For owners, the Rover booking fee is an 11% fee finalized at checkout based on the options and preferences selected for the booking, including dates, number of pets, duration, and any add-ons or discounts. For sitters and walkers, Rover applies a 20% service fee per booking, which means you take home 80% of your earnings. Our fees support 24/7 customer service, trust and safety, site maintenance, and sitter benefits, including payment processing and promotions. They also fund our Rover Guarantee for peace of mind. Carmen was amazing with our dog Stella…
Carmen was amazing with our dog Stella and I would give her more stars if I could! Stella stayed with her during the day for 2 days while we hiked Big Bend. She kept in touch during the day with cute pictures and notes. She definitely spoiled our girl and I would use her again😁

Great Experience!
I needed to board my puppy overnight at the last minute and I was concerned. He's only a few months old and has not been socialized much. He's an energetic Jack Russel Chihuahua mix and needed to be with someone that truly understands dogs. Dealing with Rover was very easy. The site had great ratings. My sitter Jen was extremely responsive, payment was easy and most importantly, I was confident my little guy was safe.
