It is too far from my house and also not total disclosure of payments. I got charge total bill $91.02 then later an extra $8.20 for service?? If the person who takes care of the dog charges $69? almst $30 extra?? They take 40% from the care person why charging extra to the customer?

I’m a long‑standing Cat in a Flat sitter who was moved over to Rover, and the experience has been consistently disappointing. Rover claims to offer a support line, yet every time I’ve needed help, the phone numbers provided either don’t connect or direct me back to the app or voicemail messages. Emails are now being unanswered for days, if they’re acknowledged at all. When issues are raised on social media Rover direct you back to the support email address which was used in the first instance. They aquired Cat In A Flat 2 years ago. They’ve had plenty of time to get the basics right. Today I had an urgent issue accessing a client’s home and needed immediate assistance. I called, the recorded message told me I’d receive an email, and received nothing. When I called back to prevent my booking being cancelled, there was still no support available. This is not acceptable for a platform responsible for people’s homes and pets. Rover has shown a complete lack of preparedness for the Cat in a Flat migration and a disregard for the sitters who rely on timely, reliable support. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this platform. I certainly will not be using Rover for my own pets! I don’t trust them and their ‘guarantee’ is worthless. Adding this after the AI response from Rover - which is exactly the same response to other's reviews. In addition to that the number Rover has provided in their response (You can reach Rover Support 24/7 at +44 8082 812524) - this is not a 24/7 contact number and no one ever answers the phone!! What a ridiculous response? That is a lie!

very legit website, you still have to vet your possible sitters but the site is good

There is a lot of feedback on each sitter. You get to see pictures of other pets and get to read what the sitter offers while your pet is in there care.
