The Rover sitters make the big difference! The platform works okay. Not easy to find a the right match and get a response. But once I connected Rares in Lakewood Dallas was the real deal!

Too many damn emails.

Nicole was awesome! We are so glad we found her & retained her services - our guys became comfortable with her in no time, & actually looked forward to her visits - they were almost disappointed that we came back!

We hired a house sitter to stay at our house and care for our dogs. The sitter spent a very large amount of the time away from the house and our dogs were mostly left alone. Rover was almost completely non-responsive and blamed the sitter as an independent contractor all while taking no accountability. I would not recommend using them. I am updating my review from 1 star to 2 stars. After about a month, Rover did agree to a partial refund.

Veroncia has watched our rescue dogs many times over the past 5 years. Sometimes just for a couple of days and sometimes for up to 2 weeks. The suitcase comes out and my dog heads to the door and is eager to get to her house where she is greeted by the entire family plus family dog. Veronica has always been very responsive and responsible. The whole experience is a real game changer for us.

Been using Rover for pet sitting and so far have had excellent results. Would definitely recommend!

We’ve used Rover several times now and overall we’re very happy with the service. Every sitter we’ve worked with has been fantastic — reliable, kind, and great with our cats. I’d give the sitters themselves a full 5 stars. My only real frustration is with Rover’s search function. It feels a bit inconsistent. Sometimes it doesn’t show all the sitters who are actually available, and running the same search multiple times can give different results. On our last booking, the sitter we wanted didn’t appear in the search at all, so we contacted someone else — and then Rover suddenly suggested the original sitter in a “you may also want to contact…” popup. That left me unsure how the search is supposed to work. So overall: great sitters, great experiences, but the search tool could use improvement. I’d still recommend Rover, just with a little caution when browsing for sitters.

I highly recommend Rover! The platform makes it so easy to find background-checked, trustworthy pet care in your neighborhood. Every experience I’ve had so far has been professional, and the sitters have genuinely cared for my pet like their own. The app is simple to use and communication is always great. 5 stars!
