The sitter that we hired was not dependable, was suppose to be there 7-8 am and 7-8 pm. One day was there at12:16 after I reached out. Another day after 2 pm. And gave the wrong medication for 5 days. Instructions were left with the dose and name of medication. On top of that she was never shown the medication she gave. Our bills for emergence care is over $1000.00. We are still not out of the woods yet.

I loved being able to read the profiles, see how many pets and children were in the home, and make a well informed decision. Rover makes it easy to know who is vetted and has great reviews. I have never left my dog anywhere but with a close friend or relative, so I was nervous to even look. However, the process was easy and made me very comfortable.

I was apprehensive of using a dog sitter service. I have always relied on a friend to watch my dogs, but she recently moved out of the area. Rover made it easy to find someone, I had a meet & greet well before my scheduled date and my dogs fell in love with their care givers Jamie & Brian & so did I. I received photos & updates daily during their stay which made my vacation more enjoyable. I would highly recommend them to anyone who was looking for a dog sitter. I found D last year after are usual Rover person moved … Clem is considered Special Needs and not a lot of people would take her … But D welcomed both Clem and her brother Jackson with open arms .. she gave constant updates and pictures.. she watched them again this year and we called it “The Twins Vacation “ .. D is amazing and I’m truely thankful to find her on this app .. Rover really helps connect you with the right person to care for your loved ones ..

Waiting over a month for Rover to resolve issues they told me not to worry about, that why could fix. Absolutely nothing has been done to protect myself and my clients

I like the fact that there are lots of different pet sitters to choose from, and that you can go and meet them and see where the pet will be staying before booking a time. I don't like the separate booking fee and the fact that they charge the booking as soon as you book, even if your scheduled date is months away. I am very happy with being able to have my pet at a person's home rather than in a large kennel where the dog is just one of the many. My dog feels more at home and he doesn't stink when he comes home.
