Terrible company that doesn't stand behind it's work. Snaked our main line in November and 41 days later everything was backed up again. They stood behind their 30 day guarantee. When you are charging 863.57 you should at least stand behind your work for 41 days. Will never use this company again.
Wanted to give an update...emailed them as per their response and no one reached out to me, it's been 3 weeks, not holding my breath.

Total Rip Off do not use this Company…
Total Rip Off do not use this company you will be upset. Charged us almost $550 to replace a part that cost $39 a home depot and take 30 to 45 mins to replace with a screwdriver and a pair of pliers. This company is truly ripping people off. Please report them to the BBB. DEFINITELY WILL BE REPORTING THEM TO THE STATE.

my experience was with Chapin SC Roto…
my experience was with Chapin SC Roto Rooter. I scheduled online, for 12-4, which was available today, I did make the comment that I hoped for before 230, since I had to go to work, and it said that someone would call or email me. After and hour and a half no one did email or call, so I made my first call and spoke to somoene who said that a scheduling in the area would be calling me. They didn't call again, so same amount of time went by I called a 2nd time and a 3rd time after that, was told along the way someone will call in 20 minutes, no one did, a 4th call, a 5th call, over several hours, promises of calls in 20 minutes, but no one did. But the 6th call and just before leaving for work I got the owner of the Chapin one. She said that she would have he tech call me in 20 minutes and that if he didn't please reach out again. and apologized, but again no one did, so I called again and go the corp office, I told that that was my 7th call and I was leaving for work, luckily my sister was available to hang around until 4. By 4, no call not one came, but I got a text asking if they could come by 5 so I said ok. I wasn't there but the tech arrived. I was told he kicked around in the pinestraw looking for the opening to the pipe for the drain to the septic system. I was called and told that since it wasn't outside it may be under the house. The tech didn't go in my house or under my house. Actually didn't diagnose anything, but rather proceeding to tell me it would be $1100 to take my toilet off and snake from there and put it back on. I started screaming at him to leave my property, from the phone. There was no way I was paying that to snake a line. I said he could go throw other drains in the house to diagnose the problem. I had a large drain in the middle of my shower, or maybe my washing machine drain pipe something, and he wouldn't be taking apart the toilet. He wanted $100 to leave, and hadn't done anything. My son in law did pay it to him, and I had a $25 coupon and didn't get that taken off. I asked for the owner to call me, but that didn't happen yet. I'm thinking it won't. I called for someone else to come in the morning. I can't believe I wasted an entire day on this tech who didn't do anything, didn't diagnose but basically cheated me out of $100

I couldn't be happier with my service…
I couldn't be happier with my service from Roto-Rooter. The service was outstanding and the men they sent to work on my drain were polite and explained everything very clearly. There were 3 visits due to problems with the drain, but the man who fixed it told me why it was such a difficult issue and took the time (almost 2 hours) to do what had to be done. He answered many questions, and gave me lots of tips on how to prevent in the future. Are they more expensive than other companies? Maybe, but sometimes you have to pay more for quality. Highly recommend!

If I could give zero stars I would..
If I could give zero stars I would... Sadly, by reading other people's reviews it looks like this company is a repeat offender.
Stay away unless you want to pay to basically be taken for a ride...
We called to get our sewage drain cleaned (as every homeowner is advised to do every couple of years) and upon showing up the first thing that the tech did was to say that our line was ballooning and it was collapsing and that he was going to call "his manager". After quite pressing sales tactics we were presented with a 10k estimate to place clean-outs in our line, saying that otherwise, we would have had a sewage backup in no time...
When asked why it was so expensive of an estimate, after a quick google search we were able to see that the average cost in Denver for such a procedure is $3K, we were told that they are the best with the best warranty.. and service. That is 70% more than the average cost...
Additionally, we were charged $449 for the cleaning that was supposed to have happened.
Fast forward 4 days and we had two other companies come over and give us an assessment and additional opinion of what needed to be done and of what the cost would be and guess what? They both said that they were shocked that we had the line cleaned that same week, as they saw no proof of such cleaning on the line. Additionally, they said that the line was not ballooning or collapsing but that simply there were some roots obstructing the bottom of the line hence that is why there was a bit of standing water. So not only Roto Rooter tried to scam us out of an absurd amount of money but they also charged us for a service not rendered.
We will be installing cleanouts (for $3k, which is the right amount for a job of this kind and with an exactly equal warranty), as it does make sense for a line as long as ours, but definitely not with this company. Attached you can find a picture of our line taken by one of the other companies showing that our line wasn't even touched by Roto Rooter.
I have started a claim for a charge reversal on my credit card for service not rendered and opened a claim o with the attorney general of Colorado about their deceptive business practices.

Scam arists all the way around
Scam arists all the way around. Guy 1 comes in and he is only a saleman and not a tech which i didn't know until company calls me on phone and says, "the tech is on his way. I said, "he's here." Then I find this guy that's here is the pitch guy..He tries to make a deal with me. Puts a water moisture sensor on floor around toilet and claims water damage and he needs our HOME OWNER POLICY!!!! This guy claims whole floor needs to be ripped up and replaced. Now comes the deal: Charge for looking for myproblem will be 300 IF I agree to give him my policy and he contacts our insurance company OR 600 bucks if I don't agree. I said I never heard of such a thing. I get a call on phone and go answer. The pitch man leaves without telling me. Tech comes and says 300 if don't have to pull toilet, 600 if i do. He only spends about 2 min with small snake, and starts unbolting toilet. I was furious. Then he gets big snake stuck in drain and can't get it out. A 3rd guy comes and is a SPECIALIST...(he was real authoritarian and snobbish) I ask why so many different people are needed for the drain. "We are specialists, like doctors you know. Professionals." Some specialist he turned out to be, he couldn't even help the guy get the cable unstuck, so calls in GUY #4. All this has taken hours and black sludge is coming up my bathtub drain by now. (it wasn't before) Now the 3 stooges go outside and come back in and tell me they can't fix the drain and leave.
THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS AND I HOPE THIS REVIEW HELPS DO THAT.
I called Omaha Drain and they fixed the problem in under an hour. Do not ever use Rotor rooter, they are dishonest, and my blood pressure went up as I thought my floor was ruined, but nothing was wrong and the second company guys told me, "of course the meter is going to show moisture, you had a small back up, but your floor is fine, no damage that will not dry out by morning."
Rotor Rooter will put you through hell, leave a worse problem and mess and empty your pocket book. That is all they cared about. That pitch man was evil, greedy, and argumentative. Instead of even talking about my plumbing problem, he was busy scamming me for as much money as he could get. Beware of companies who do not even look into your problem first before seeing how much money they can get. He put everyone down I mentioned who was going to remodel our bathroom. "Real estate agents don't know plumbing, they haven't seen water damage and worked with insurance agents on damage. I know."
Call your mother, call your dog, call a dead relative, but NEVER call rotor rooter.
