I would give zero stars if I could. Charged me $500 to install a kitchen faucet completely wrong. The tech lied and told me I had to put the deck plate onto my solid quartz countertops against my explicit instructions, which traps water and ruins the stone. I have put in 3 service requests to have this fixed and the local branch is completely ghosting me. Unacceptable customer service. Corporate has been notified."

This is the San Antiono branch: Do not be fooled by the positive reviews. Let me tell you about my experience. I'm a single mom in law enforcement 23 years. I'm all about what is just in fair. I had a flood 2 months ago not any but a sewage one with poo and dirty toilet paper in my master bedroom, master bath, and extra bedroom. Roto Rooter said we will help you through the process with my USAA Claim. They demoed my home. They left my doors outside in there 100 degree weather for birds to poop all over. I had in my kitchen marks on the door with my son's growth They threw that out. They did an estimate that did not have the correct kitchen cabinets so THEIR remodeler I had to use said that didn't need to fill in big gaps. I had to sleep on the sofa for2 month's because they did not agree with USAA estimate. It's almost 3 months and my house is still in pieces. The head here in San Antonio gave me excuse and blamed me. I'm a hardened probation officer and he brought me to tears. Please take your business elsewhere!!

Beware of bait & switch practices. My mitigation project was quoted for between 5-7K. The bill came for 12K with several duplicate line items and over charges that could not be verified. The contract indicated owner was to be notified and signature required for any change in category classification along with explanation. None of that happened so I've wasted two months going back and forth over erroneous charges and disputing the bill. Poor business practices. Buyer beware.

Ladies, Be Aware. Roto Rooter does not give you an estimate saying the tech would determine the price. The pricing is exorbitant and cost prohibitive and high pressure tactics. The tech came to look at the issue with the toilet and said the valve and flap had to be changed and charged $500. $40 for the part and $460 for labor. After I protested he said he could do it for $350. After he put in the valve, he then said there was a leak from the pipe that extended from the toilet to the wall. He should have surveyed the whole thing before changing the valve and then seeing another issue to charge another price to get me back to the initial $500. I refused, called a local plumber to repair that piping and it was $85. Roto Rooter was price gouging. Ladies stay alert and do not get taken. Seek out local plumbers. I would never work with Roto Rooter again or recommend them. Do not let what happened to me, happen to you. I am upset. This is my honest review.

I called after many weeks of me trying to unclog the problem myself. It was a Friday. The person, I spoke to was up front and honest about someone being able to help on a short notice. I was also quoted a price. The cost was underneath the quoted price. It only took 20 minutes to take care of the issue. Everyone was very nice. While in my mind, the charge was high, it was well worth it. Sometimes, you just have to bite the bullet and getter done. They gotter done.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I had a very poor experience with their water restoration team and felt their practices were misleading and predatory. After a flood, they arrived before the plumber and pressured me to sign a contract by claiming they needed to locate the leak before the plumber could repair it. They also told me the costs would be covered by my insurance, which made me feel more comfortable signing at the time. In my experience, they also sent an incomplete team, which contributed to unnecessary after-hours charges. They later billed for equipment for an extra day even though it had already been turned off and unplugged. The work was handled by separate teams that each seemed responsible for only one part of the process, which created confusion and made it difficult to understand the charges. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this ROTO ROOTER and especially the Mamaroneck branch.

This company is unreliable and unprofessional. Avoid at all costs. They came 16 days ago to inspect a collapsed storm drain. Promised they could repair and provided written proposal. Once insurance approved, I paid $6000 for work to begin. But they came back with different story, said they now could not repair, offered a sump pump (which cannot work in our situation), then stopped providing any info. Finally got a refund. Meanwhile, my basement continues to flood with every rain.
