The RO Body plan does not set forth with specificity that you will likely not be insured and that the cost will be in excess of $1,000 a month over and above the $135.00 monthly subscription.

I had joined the ro.co on Feb 8th, completed the test kit and had doctor appointment on Feb 24th and got approval on Feb 27th and the prescription was sent on March 22, then after several pharmacy referrals and followups finally i was informed on April 12 that my insurance doesnt cover the medicine and it will cost $900 - $1000 for the medicine .this was such a disappointing experience whilst i have spent nearly $400 ($99 in Feb, $135 in March and $ 135 on April 22) for actually nothing had they asked me to check with my insurance on coverage then i would not have joined the program.. to be honest this is one of my worst experience i have had with doctors. Please do not join this program until you are sure your insurance covers the meds or u have money to spend$1000 every month.

F THIS COMPANY! I tried to cancel my Ozempic prescription and they told me “we already sent out your metabolic test kit” and claimed they couldn’t refund me $100 even if I was to never take it and simply return it back! What BS! They also don’t tell you that most insurance companies don’t even cover Ozempic, so your f’ed paying $135 the next month too even if you find out your insurance company will not provide for you. Also if you don’t have your insurance company covering it, it’s 1K a month from then on out which they DONT tell you either.

I qualified for a medication. They told me they'd use their own pharmacy and ship it to me directly. Then they said they don't do that. Then they sent it to a pharmacy where I'd have to drive over two hours in a different state to pick up claiming that it was out of stock near me (I live in the city..there are pharmacies on every corner). Then that pharmacy transferred it to the closest pharmacy to me (walking distance from my house). Then that pharmacy said that the doctor wrote the Rx wrong and they couldn't fill it. Then Ro told me that my copay is $300 which is double what they told me before. They won't explain where the new difference came from. I never have a direct line of contact. I don't recommend this company for anyone. Especially if you need your medication soon.

Never got to the point of receiving any products. The process of enrolling in the weight loss program has numerous tedious steps with long down-times in between. The wait for responses is very long. When finally approved, I was advised by the nurse practitioner (who should be able to make independent decisions based on patient history but apparently is following an algorithm or deferring to a physician) that the protocol mandates that I step backwards in dosing. Instead of starting at my present dose, I would have to go back to the dose I was on 2 months ago and then "step" back up to my present dose before moving forward with a higher dose. This makes no medical sense and I cannot find any evidence to support this practice, ven from the manufactorer. Additionally, this would compromise my present blood sugar control as they offered no method to control it while I went to a lower dose. This is an example of algorithm based care instead of patient or evidence based care. Hey Ro, it is no longer 1963!

Ro is not honest about their processes and bills at their will. I received an email today asking me to update my information for my annual "approval". The message indicated that I would not be billed immediately and the "virtual visit" was free of charge. I went through the online questionnaire and updated my next shipment date for a month out (because the system automatically selects shipment upon physician approval). And guess what, I was just billed today. I will be cancelling and now that I see the reviews here I see that this is an ongoing issue.
