Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs! They charge a fee just to be a member. This fee doesn't cover medication. They say they will try to get preauthorization from your insurance, and if not, they will work with you on options. I was told my insurance authorized medication and that they sent it to my pharmacy. After 10 days waiting to hear from my pharmacy, I called them, and they never received anything from Ro. I messaged Ro about this and received a response 2 days later saying they'd send it in. Finally received notice from my pharmacy that the prescription was ready and I owed $1037?! So insurance hadn't authorized my prescription, Ro DIDN'T work with me on other options, and then killed time not sending my prescription in or responding to my messages timely, just holding out for me to have to pay another $145 monthly fee for their "service".

While the fee does not cover the medication, it does include a personalized weight loss plan, health coaching via video chats and messaging, insurance coverage support for medication, and ongoing care that is needed in the GLP-1 treatment journey. Oftentimes, some insurance plans may have a high deductible that you need to meet in order to lower the co-pay costs for coverage - it sounds like that may have been your case here.
