I found Kyle Claussen and his company, Resolve, on the WhiteCoatInvestor page. I was very satisfied and impressed with his multiple discussions with Jim Dahle on matters related to physician contract review. I was glad I could get Kyle as my attorney after I requested it. He was very professional and communicated well. He and his team did a great job in the contract review process. For negotiation, I ended up having to do most of it because 1) the first company refused to communicate with lawyers, and 2) by the time I found another institution, I was confident in negotiating myself, with Kyle providing some coaching before I went to negotiate. Ultimately, I learned that the MGMA data is not very helpful for a highly desirable living area like Long Island, NY, because it only gives data in regions (such as Eastern, Midwest, etc). The only way I truly knew my market value was by getting multiple contract offers in the locations near me and speaking to seniors who had recently graduated. If I could do it again, perhaps I would get a cheaper option rather than the premium. But I would be wrong if I didn't say that I learned a ton during my experience with Kyle as my attorney.

Very thankful for Zach’s help and guidance in creating a separation agreement for my current employer and negotiating a contract with my new employer. His insight was very much appreciated.
