Great design, greater people
The light switch is simply fantastic, as was the customer service. The unit arrived short two screws required for installation. I contacted RS, and the screws were in my mailbox inside three days! Really appreciated their kind service.

DO NOT PURCHASE--POOR QUALITY & SERVICE. We purchased a floor lamp that looked cheap and flimsy, especially given the price ($800, absurd). When I tried to return it, they required me to pay for shipping ($150) and charged a 50% restocking fee. They then mistakenly reshipped the product as an exchange instead of processing the return, and asked us to cover return shipping for their own error—while still only offering store credit as a concession. Overall, a terrible experience. I would not recommend buying from this brand; both the product quality and customer service were extremely disappointing. I know the lights look beautiful on their website and instagram but their branding in their greatest strength and the product itself looks like temu quality in person. Not worth it, please trust me.
Response from Residence SupplyOct 17, 2025
Hi Avery, We’d like to clarify a few details regarding your order. The exchange was initiated directly by you through our return portal — we do not have the ability or authorization to initiate an exchange on a customer’s behalf, as it requires you to input your own payment details. Because you initiated an exchange rather than a return, no restocking fee was charged. Our team simply processed your request according to the information submitted in the system. We understand this situation was frustrating, but our team acted in line with the process you selected. Our products are handcrafted and made to order, and we stand by their quality and craftsmanship. Sincerely, Residence Supply

Excellent well made product! The light bulbs included were not good, however. But replacing them fixed the interrupted circuit issues

Terrible customer service
Their new line of light switches are much worse than the original ones. I wouldn't recommend them at all. I've never been treated worse by a customer service team. Also, their customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. Their customer service center approved two returns (1 with a return number and the other without a return number), both shipped within the same box. They only credited me for the product with a return number. They claim they never received the return without the return number ... even though I put them in the same box. When I mentioned this to them, they refer to their return policy that states I need to generate a return number, even though it was confirmed by them via email that this wasn't needed for my particular return...
Response from Residence SupplyOct 17, 2025
Hi Jacob, We’d like to clarify the situation regarding your return. Our records show that we only received the item associated with the provided return number — the additional module you mentioned was not included in the package upon inspection. Despite this, as a gesture of goodwill, we’ll be issuing store credit for the missing module, even though it was not received. Our team also reached out to you by phone to discuss the matter directly but did not receive a response. Please note that our return policy requires a valid return number for each item to ensure proper tracking and processing, which helps avoid these issues in the future. Sincerely, Residence Supply
