Total scam DO NOT USE!

This site is a scam. I had the worst experience with this site (reservationsportal.com). They mislead you through the reservation process and after you’ve paid, they send you a confirmation email with non-refundable term! Typical bait-and-switch practice. Stay away.

DO NOT use this website to do anything! Would have zero stars if it let me. It doesn’t show you totals on anything and after you input your info to complete booking and go to the page that would normally show you the totals, it just loads and times out. And then you get a notification from your bank that you got charged. And it will be $95 more for some bullshit tax crap and then you’ll get another charge for $12 for their reservation fee. And then there’s a no refund policy. AND THEN they have the audacity to tell you that it shows the total before you pay. NO IT F’N DOESN’T!

TOTAL SCAM! On 12/25/24 I made a hotel reservation for 12/28-12/29 through Reservations Portal and immediately received a confirmation that my reservation had been completed. I did not notice at the time, but there was no date of my stay on the confirmation. On 12/27 I found an email in my junk mail from them saying my reservation was for 12/25-12/26. I have a screen shot showing the reservation was for 12/28. I tried contacting Reservations Portal 3 times and they won't let you talk to a person, it's just a recording and a bot. My credit card was charged $432 so I am pursuing the matter with Capital One, but apparently they won't answer my credit card company either.

deceptive practices. they some how embed their link into hotels on google maps, and redirect you to a vague website that shows the city name and hotel you're booking, after booking you eventually realize they booked you in an entirely different state. conveniently they don't allow free cancellations and won't answer their phone to even begin the process. SCAM

On Christmas Day, I was making reservations to visit my son in Arizona and had a couple of tabs open - the property's and another for details about the area. In the confusion, I made a two night reservation through what I mistakenly thought was the property website, proceeding based on knowledge of the property reservation guidelines. However, when returning to the reservation confirmation link to adjust arrival date and use points for the additional date, learned that the reservation was made through "ReservationsPortal" and not the property website. Although polite, the agent took pains to avoid giving the name of the company, continuing to reference the property name as if that was who I was speaking with. Dizzying jargon and complete lack of available options later - I'm stuck for an overpriced stay and absolutely no recourse due to ReservationsPortal's company policy of no modifications, no changes, no refunds, no exceptions. I want my money refunded and reservation cancelled.

I made a reservation for Country Inn and suites via their website. I was not told by the reservation agent that the number on the website and the agent I was speaking with was not Country Inn but a third party agent. I made a reservation for two people and a dog. I was quoted a price of $94.96 for the room and $36 for the pet fee. Since I was on the road traveling, and not able to get emails, I asked for the receipt to be texted to me. The agent said they could not do that. When I got to the hotel that evening they had my reservation but not the pet fee. I opened the email I received from Reservationsportal.com and saw that it did not include the pet fee and instead had a Recovery fee in the amount of $59.03, which was more than 50% of the hotel room fee AND never discussed or disclosed in my phone reservationconversation. No pet fee! I had to pay another $36 at the hotel for the pet. I would like the $59.03 Recovery Fee reimbursed .

A clear ad/sponsored site that tries to pull people away from their intended location. They will book a room but make it significantly more difficulty to change any plans due to unforeseen circumstances. The rooms state "no cancellation" but no where states "no modification". Their help line claimed no modifications can be made thus moving the dates would be considered a cancellation. Do not book here unless absolutely necessary as there is not any savings versus going to the hotel's direct website. If you book here and try to change they have to email/call the hotel to make any changes as the hotel can not handle it directly or the digital voucher reservationsportal sends them will not be valid. They are trying to make extra money by preying on these types of situations. If you do need to change dates or something happens, call the hotel first confirming if they are able to cancel/change your dates. If they are able to change/cancel, then call reservationsportal notifying them to open a ticket and contact the hotel partner. My opinion is their end goal is to double charge people when dates change or keep the money when you go elsewhere without doing any work. Overall poorly designed customer service but will get you a room.
