The hotel is barely acceptable
The hotel is barely acceptable. Roaches in the room. AC didn't work properly. The parking lot had pot holes filled with mud. Outside there were weeds everywhere and no grass. The change for $25.00 per dog seems excessive considering the condition of the place

Lack of quality restaurants
Lack of quality restaurants. Multiple elevators down over the weekend. Really affected the experience of my room, which had a lovely view. It was decorated. Very lovely but yes, need better restaurants and elevators. The work.

Bad app, for starters.
App was a totally unhelpful resource to get to know the hotel. Every key search led me to more services found in other affiliated hotels when I just wanted to know, for example, where to eat nearest to my room. A map would have been helpful too but I couldn’t find one on the app. The security system affecting elevators constantly malfunctioned (I was using my phone). Room was ok but chain was broken on the window screen when we arrived. The gym was laughably small. Room rate was ok but everything else was just too expensive.

The room was not clean the room service…
The room was not clean the room service was not up to par. The front desk was amazing! The decor was very off putting.

The room appeared old and dingy
The room appeared old and dingy. The bathroom floor was extremely wet when we first checked in. The tub/shower was slippery. Other than two hooks on the wall there was no place to hang any clothes. The bed mattress felt worn out. I will not stay there again.

The room obviously hadn't been cleaned
The room obviously hadn't been cleaned. There were roaches. There were boogers in the shower which had no shower curtain. One bed had obviously been slept in. I'm not sure what happened in the last few months, but after staying here every other year since 2010, this may have been my last stay. The lady who checked me in was lovely, the front desk staff always has been. I'm assuming new ownership is to blame for the rapid decay in quality. My last stay was in October and I noted then there were roaches and expected that the issue would be resolved by now. Instead, it's gotten far worse.
