Be wary - website clearly stated pricing in $AUD. However at time of credit card processing I was charged $US for the amount then converted to $AUD - so much more expensive. Then a $20 processing fee was applied with no notification of such. I am left feeling cheated.

DO NOT GO ANWHERE NEAR THIS COMPANY!! I googled The Holiday Inn Kenilworth and the firsy page that came up was The Reservations Center with a photo depicting the hotel. I was quoted the price of £125.00 per night and I booked 2 nights accommodation. On booking online there is no final breakdown of costs prior to confirming the booking. I was then charged £250 plus a further £139.41 for what was described as Tax Recovery Charges. At no time was i made aware there would be such charges. I have raised a dispute with my credit card company however Reservations Center (an American company) declined and refused to reimburse me.

Wanted to book hotel room at Melbourne Airport and selected Reservations Center to do so. I found a suitable room priced at AU$153. Filled out required information including bank details to complete booking. Confirmation email arrived and to my horror the company had changed the transaction to US$. My room was now costing me US$213 listed as room, tax and cleaning services. Plus the bank would charge me for exchange rates. I had checked twice to make sure I was working in AU$. It's a scam and deceitful what they do once they have your bank details.

We booked a hotel room at the price quoted of £149.00 GBP. We received confirmation receipt to find the price was $300. We rang our credit card but they were unable to help as the transaction was pending rather than confirmed. We called the USA number to cancel the booking. After lengthy discussions they offered a derisory refund of $19, which we refused. After further discussion they said they would cancel the booking and may refund us the amount paid. They have to go through a third party, but we are really not sure if anything will happen. We have no confidence in this process. We rang the hotel directly to advise, them, but have to ring back tomorrow to speak to the Reservations team. Totally unsatisfactory and after reading other reviews about the reservations centre, our advice is PLEASE do not book through them. It’s a total scam. Shame on them.

SCAMMERS !!!! It looks Legit when you book online Booked a night away, quoted £131 which I authorized. They took £204. 08 and £9.34 from my account, did not authorize for this amount. Went in touch with my bank, I was reimbursed. Three days later !! This company whoever they are have withdrawn the exact amount again. I've been in touch with my bank again regarding fraud. Please stay well away from this merchant !!! It's very, very upsetting to have this happen to yourself 😪 Exact date 1st of November and then 4th November 2024!!
