why did they cheat us out of $100? the credit card statement showed much higher prices than originally shown. I will write a review on Google that will give you a point and portray you as negatively as possible. you scammers

Scammers who are promoted by Google! Charged me twice the price I authorised and then tried to take more money. I had to cancel my bank cards. Never got any confirmation of my reservation and had to rebook via Booking.com.

Their website showed a price of eur85 for a one-night stay in a hotel in the uk, but when I booked it, I got charged a higher amount in USD for the hotel stay and an extra eur40 for admin costs. I called the hotel and they confirmed that I had a valid booking which was honoured. In total I was overcharge eur50 on a booking that was for eur85! The strange thing that I realised is that the hotel booking was made via booking.com. I informed booking.com of how they were being used by scammers, but they did not care. I am actually more disappointed with booking.com than with the scammers. I live and I learn, I guess.

Stay clear and be wary. I thought I was as direct linking to the hotel to book. Quoted in AUD, only to be charged in USD with an extra tax and fees charge (we dont pay tax on hotels in Australia, and GST is in the price), this is discreetly added to the transaction and you only find out once you’ve paid. And an $18 fee for membership. Consequently my 2 night booking cost ended up being worth a 3 night booking. Worse thing is that I booked for my daughter who is on disability support and a very small budget for luxuries like a hotel. I’m so upset. How do they get away with this?

RIP OFF - DO NOT USE. Totally agree with all other comments, wish I could give Zero stars. You are directed to this website from hotel website (in my case Hyatt Regency Manchester UK). Amount shown said $GBP130, at which point I should've thought twice. The amount increases AFTER you have given credit card details. Plus apply a $155 cancellation charge with no prior warning. I am going to try and get Hyatt to cancel this, and if not dispute with my bank. Can't believe I was such a fool. Next time I will just pick up the phone to the hotel and reserve by speaking to a human being.
