Deceptive is an understatement!
I booked a hotel in Moncton NB today on what looked very much like the hotel website! Very deceptive. In addition the rates were not clearly stated to be in USD (why would I pay in USD when I am Canadian and this is a CANADIAN HOTEL!?!?!?) I always check my confirmation and put it in my outlook and when I got this 2 minutes after booking I immediately realized they had charged me in USD PLUS extra fees! I immediately clicked CANCEL and received an automated email telling me they had charged my credit card for one nights stay (in USD mind you!) plus cancellation fees!!!! This within 3 minutes of booking!!! I do not have the time to wait two hours to talk to some "customer Service Rep" in foreign country only to have them tell me nothing can be done so I am contacting the hotel management and telling them they need to cease any association with this company. I will also contact my credit card company and advise them not to pay this!!!!
