Never use this site....A charge of £88 was added to my bill which only became apparent when the confirmation came through. It looked like a genuine hamptonbyhilton booking site when I searched for same, but they are a third party. I reiterate NEVER USE THEM

Utter and complete scam. No more needs to be said. Avoid at all costs? !

Do not use this site - but you have to look carefully for the real hotel site. I also got the extra $11.99 US charge and the poor exchange rates as I am in New Zealand ...and the bank foreign exchange charges. The hotel says the booking has gone through as if it is Agoda which they do use but I didnt ask if they are going to check with Agoda. The hotel does have my booking but if they havent been paid for it there is doubt whether they will honour it. The site of course quoted in NZ Dollars. The charge to my credit card was $188 per night rather than the $126 quoted and the exchange rate pain is on top of that. I understand from some of the comments here that bookings were honoured by the hotels.??? But is this site a scam too to get your facebook or google a/c? I have had my hotel booking honoured. I have also emailed reservations center for a refund of overcharging. No reply. Since then , on the one day when my credit card wasnt blocked I have been scammed again by edreams and Obeida, based in Barcelona for a membership of a scheme that is linked to hotel and other travel discounts....for NZ dollar 118 or so. I did not agree to this and the email was imitating my airline booking confirmation. It says it will refund most of the money if I ask, but I am reluctant to give them any more details. Perhaps the solution is to set up an account purely for refunds with no credit in it.

The advertised rate was much lower. When paying I couldn't see the total fee. Only after the confirmation mail it became clear that I paid 46 USD for service fee. A scam as I could have booked for 40 USD lower with other platforms like booking.com. They book themselves via agoda. Never book via this company. No added value and a lot of hidden costs

Rip off site charge another $50 over the quoted price for the hotel room, cheaper to book direct, scam site, some crap about cleaning fee and taxes, total scam.

Again i assumed i was on the hotel website. Booking showed total price was to be £196 but once processed it was £368. Credit card says its a legit booking and can't help. I'm in dispute. Hotel in question said to call them next time and they would match the price quoted.

The room I booked was advertised at $138, I was billed at $253. The hotel didn't even recognise my booking. Avoid!

As someone who uses the internet to book/order/arrange things all the time, I cannot believe I fell for this scam! Checked prices for a Holiday Inn hotel, went to book it on what looked just like their website, before I put in any card details or personal information I checked the URL and it said reservationscenter.holidayinn.com so I thought it was legitimate. I even, before booking it, wanted to double check the location of the hotel, so opened another page (the genuine one) and checked the location. Both websites look identical. I was wrong, I nearly fell over when I received the email confirmation and it revealed that my reservation had gone from GBP120 to a few dollars short of $500. Speaking to my bank doesn't help as I need an auth code from the retailer to get the payment stopped. Funnily enough, that's not so easy. Foolishly I cancelled the booking right away, but now it seems that action confirms the scam as I will now find it difficult to get my money back. I should have just left the reservation alone as it would still stand, just at a much, much higher price.
