I (Donna Coleman) had my windows replaced by renewal by Anderson in 2009 and I was not happy with the windows and I was tired of calling them about the air coming in sweating water dripping down the windows. So Monday I called and they had Charlie come out today 12/27/22. He told me why I was having these problem. He was so nice fixed the problem that I told him about, He was very careful not getting my house dirty,I was very inpressed this time and I hope I will not have to have them come out again. Charlie really did care( great service.)

Renewel By Anderson could be one of the worst companies around, they have terrible customer service, their windows have leaks, & they charge a small fortune, I live in Hudson Ohio, I have been dealing with them for the last year trying to get a window replaced under warranty, their installation manager Dean is a pathalogical liar, I have 8 other windows what were installed last year that have broken seal, check the BBB they have over 400 complaints against them. Additionally they make you sign a forced arbitration document when you sign a contract with them, this company is designed to rob people. Big disappointment.

I needed a patio slider replaced on my house, and got quotes by renewal by Anderson and Pella. Renewal by Andersen came first and quoted me over $7000 for a standard height 96 wide slider. I told the representative that I wanted to get another quote and that I had somebody in mind. And he was not going to give up unless I bought from him that day. His first number was over $7000 and by the time he left an hour later he was down to $4200. The whole interview was a waste of time. I have had pressure sales situation before. when I quoted Pella, their first quote was almost $1000 less than the best quote I got from renewal by Andersen. Their TV commercials just drive me nuts, because they act like they’re wonderful people looking out for you and that’s just a load of crap.

Do not use them. In contract its states they will replace rotten wood for windows. They are not following through. Also, they want me to cut my bushes 18" back from my home because they cannot finish the work. When they review the project, they knew the bushes were in front of the windows. Also, they broke branches on my bushes. Know my bushes are destroyed. Really!!! They have no customer support and cannot get answers out them for status of my project.

I ordered and paid for windows but the company, Renewals by Andersen, stole my deposit and will not return my calls. Do not do business with this company or you will regret it

Ordered doors and windows from Renewal by Anderson in Feb. or March, 2002. As of today, Nov. 15, 2022, absolutely NO work has been completed. Very difficult to get any honest responses from staff there. CAVEAT EMPTOR!

I’ve been waiting since early Feb 2022. They promised 15 to 20 weeks for install. It’s now been 36 weeks. They barely return phone calls and rarely give updates. When the doors finally came in about 3 weeks ago they had the wrong color door track. They’re are now saying that’s the only color they have. It’s not what I ordered. The interior frame and track was to be white, they sent mudd grey. They’ve offered to paint it. I don’t want paint, I want the agreed to factory finish white. That’s what I was sold. Now I’m fighting to get my 1/3 deposit back. DON’T walk-RUN from these people Incompetence and lies. After reading some of these other reviews, maybe I should count myself lucky that they never installed the doors. It sounds like that’s when the problems really start. Save yourself the time, money and aggravation.

Worse than Home Depot Windows I had 3 of my 20 year old windows replaced. The only good thing about this experience is that I didn't replace them all. They are difficult to open and close, dirt comes in during high winds when closed and locked, the caulk looks awful, the frame takes up more window space than my old windows, and they block less noise than my old windows. Service has been terrible. After 2 service agents were unable to fix the issue, the started blaming me for their window issues. (Apparently I'm not strong enough despite having recently moved 2 tons of rock for landscaping work.) They asked what my expectations were. Well, I expected they would at least be as good as my old windows. They're living off an old reputation.
