Experience with salesperson was great.
Took several months for new front door to arrive and be installed. Was surprised that it was not made by Andersen?
Installation was professional and satisfactory except for a missing trim strip inside and an imperfection in glass sidelight which was pointed out by install crew.
After several weeks, we finally got new sidelight glass replaced, but trim strip is still missing. OUR JOB IS NOT COMPLETE.
Communication with this company leaves a lot to be desired.

Had an appointment. Person called in sick. Tried to pressure me several times to have spouse join in EVEN THOUGH I MADE IT CLEAR FROM START—- she is NOT ON DEED AND HAS NO SAY OR ANY CONCERN IN THIS DWELLING BUSINESS LOST. I WILL GIVE BAD REVIEWS TO EVERY ONE I SEE. I WILL ALSO LET KID THAT SET UP MY APPOINTMENT AT WALMART WHAT A BUNCH OF LIERS THEY ARE. MAYBE I CAN RUN SOME CUSTOMERS OFF.

This company was disrespectful and…
This company was disrespectful and needs to come into this era. They pulled the deed of my house to see if a MAN is on it and then questioning if I even own the property was just unprofessional on all levels! When it is said you are talking to the decision maker, all the personal questions should have stopped being asked. overall, I felt violated on many levels, and this company needs to wake up. WOMEN can be the decision-makers and be the head of the household! I will not recommend anyone to this company and will make sure they know if you are a female, make sure your husband or a man calls for the appointment. I have heard the conversation is a lot better when a MAN calls from MULTIPLE PEOPLE!!

I was cheated and will not ever use this company again
I will not ever use this company again. The installation was for a rental property. I lost over $10,000 in lost rent waiting for them. I placed my order in January. By August there were still not done They broke things during installation and didn't have parts on hand for repairs. Yhey also filed a false report to the finance company that they were finished, which started the click running on interest. Their self-serving contract doesn't provide recourse. Better yo use someone reputable tather than this company which sucks you in with all sorts of verbal promises that they won't keep

RUN, don't walk, away from Renewal
We had them redo all of the windows and doors on our house. We expected it to be pricey due to the job and decided to splurge as they had good products and a good guarantee. Big. Mistake. They made all of the windows with incorrect exterior trim color, 5 of the windows had globs of sealant between the panels, and the overall quality is not what I would expect for if I had paid *half* of what I did. The install team did not use filters or other lead precautions like we were told they would and at the end of the job the team left dust all over the inside of our house (tested negative for lead luckily) and piles of trash and sawdust all over our yard. That's when they completely stopped communicating. We had to schedule our own final inspection because we could not get our "concierge" to return our calls. We're still waiting (3 weeks now) for them to return our calls regarding all the QC failure windows and incorrect trim after they offered $500 off of our almost 6 figure job. The windows are functionally great, but not worth anywhere near what I paid.

Shady Sales Tactics and Unnecessary Recommendations
I am deeply dissatisfied with their sales tactics and unnecessary recommendations.
The issue I had with my windows was that they were not opening properly and seemed almost completely stuck. Instead of providing a simple and cost-effective solution, the windows salesman immediately insisted that I needed to replace them for safety reasons. He specifically pointed out that the window in my daughter's bedroom posed a potential danger in case of a fire.
Feeling concerned for my daughter's safety, I was inclined to follow his advice. However, I decided to explore alternative options before committing to such a significant expense. After some research, I discovered that a silicone lubricant, costing me only $10, was able to immediately fix the issue entirely. It is baffling that the salesman did not suggest trying a lubricant first, which could have saved me from unnecessary expenses and safety risk.
Moreover, the high-pressure sales pitch I experienced was disheartening, particularly as a single mother. The salesman attempted to charge me over $3000 for a standard-sized bedroom window, claiming it was a limited-time offer with a 25% discount, contingent on purchasing multiple windows and financing them with monthly payments. This approach felt manipulative and exploitative.
Additionally, the estimated weeks required for ordering and installation were concerning. The salesman's urgency to replace the window due to safety risks was contradicted by the extensive waiting period. It made me question the sincerity of their concern for customer safety.
While the windows themselves may be of good quality, I cannot recommend Renewal by Andersen based on my experience with their sales tactics. The lack of consideration for cost-effective solutions and the pressure to make unnecessary purchases left me feeling disappointed and skeptical of their integrity. I urge potential customers to thoroughly explore all options and consider seeking alternative opinions before making any decisions with this company.
