I haven't even gotten the door installed yet and I am dissatisfied. High pressure savy salesmen, way to expensive but I went along with it.My advice ???Don't do it.Get a good local carpenter for thousands less.

You have to be a fool to work with Renewal
You have to be a fool to work with Renewal. They spend a gazillion on advertising and virtually nothing on the employees that interface with customers - even management. Bottom line, I had an estimate done on my townhome in 2022. I was told that I would have to do some work myself or lay someone to do it before they could do the install which makes zero sense as I live in a normal townhome and they advertise that they handle everything. I wanted them to update my estimate and make sure they’d handle everything. The attitudinal supervisor told me they wouldn’t send anyone unless I told him how many windows needed to be replaced….I told him that I wanted to change them all. He refused to send someone out ( Tyler’s supervisor whose name starts with an M). If this is how they treat you when you’re about to do a full home replacement you’ve got to be lobotomized to ever work with them. I’m now scheduled to have another company who’s worked with people in my development come out. Renewal needs a major attitude adjustment

I am extremely disappointed
I am extremely disappointed with Renewal by Andersen and would not recommend this company based on our experience.
We replaced all the windows in our home because the previous ones were leaking. Based on the salesperson’s assurances of superior quality and durability, we purchased Renewal by Andersen’s high-end products at a premium price.
The installation was completed around Memorial Day 2026. Immediately afterward, we noticed loud metallic vibration sounds whenever the windows were opened or closed. The grilles between the panes of glass in the large windows and patio doors also rattle loudly and appear to be loose.
We reported these defects repeatedly. Renewal by Andersen sent inspection crews more than four times, yet the company failed to provide an effective repair, a clear explanation, or a satisfactory resolution. Eventually, on Aug.31 2026, a technician added a small piece of foam to reduce the noise. We were then informed that our request to repair or replace the defective windows and doors had been denied and that we were expected to accept them in their current condition.
This outcome is unacceptable. We paid a premium price for high-quality windows and doors, not defective products, temporary foam patches, inadequate communication, and months of unresolved frustration. Renewal by Andersen has failed to address the problems appropriately, and I cannot recommend the company.

I usually don't write reviews because…
I usually don't write reviews because we're human and we make mistakes but I have a problem with people who don't own it. In March, I called Renewal of Andersen regarding replacing my front and back doors. I am elderly, live alone and the doors I had was a safety issue. The salesman went over the different styles of doors, hardware, color etc. He also went over promotions and discounts with me. I picked out the least expensive items and none of the additional stuff he tried to sell me. I discussed with him the color for the interior and exterior same color as the ones I had which was gray exterior and white interior. I wanted to keep the same color pattern. He had his little iPad writing down all the things we discuss and the prices. I signed the contract for 12 months same as cash with the Finance company March. I doors arrived in May. I immediately noticed the color of both doors were wrong. Instead of sending both doors gray on the outside and white on the inside they sent one door all gray and one door all white. I called Renewal to let them know the doors were wrong. I was told they would have the salesman call me back. When he called back not happy about the situation saying "you signed the contract" which was not the issue the issue was you made a mistake on the doors. I called Renewal because he was no help and complained to a supervisor. She said they would fix the front door but not the back door and if I wanted the back door fixed it would be an additional $1,000 dollars that I did not have. What really pissed me off that the back door did not have an entry lock. I called back to let them know I didn't have access to enter the back door. They asked me to take a Pic and send which I did. After a couple of days I called back again and was told the person I spoke to was.on vacation and they didn't know anything about the lock. I was furious at this point and asked for a supervisor which wasn't available to return my call. She called and made arrangements for someone to come out with a different lock and key until the original lock had to be ordered. This was in May now it's September and I'm stuck with 2 entry keys. I received a contract from the Finance company saying I owe them 14,681. I do not know where this amount came from. When I signed the iPad the total was $12,??? not $14,000. With the promotions and the discounts it should have been $12,??? so what happened to the promotions and the discounts I didn't get as promised!!! I told the salesman that the selling point was that I have to have screen doors for both doors because I had a little puppy and he stated no problem the screen doors can be purchased at Home Depot which I paid for 2 screen doors. Home Depot came out to install and both screen doors did not fit because there was an issue with the hardware. Now they want me to have screen doors on the opposite side of the doors. OMG! I'm so done with these people. I wrote a certified letter to Renewal and cc the CCB board requesting they come and pickup their doors. I just can't deal with this stress anymore. I just want to cut my ties and move on with the little life I have left in peace!!

If I could give them less than a one I…
If I could give them less than a one I would. This situation started in June and I am still dealing with it. I am so disappointed and frustrated with Renewal by Anderson. I had a design consultant come out to the house to show us their doors. We went through the designs and the consultant told us that we had 3 months to accept the designs or cancel. One week after their visit, my daughter fell down some stairs and injured her herself. She is being seen by 5 different doctors. She has not been able to work seen the fall. I called Renewal by Anderson corporate office and the local office; plus the loan company. I explained to each of them what was going on and that I needed to cancel the order. Every one I talked to said OK it would be canceled. A week after that called I received a call from Renewal by Anderson, saying that I had canceled my loan and how was I going to pay for the doors. So again I called everyone, including the loan company explaining all over again the situation. Then 2 week after that another phone call asking how I was going to pay for the doors. So I called everyone again. Then 2 weeks later another call asking how I was going to pay for the doors. So, again I am calling everyone, including the loan company. The loan company told me that they cancelled the loan on July 27 by some how Renewal by Anderson managed to get over $9,700 from them as a deposit, which they did not authorize and they started production on the doors at the warehouse. So again, I am on the phone calling everyone. Again I was told it would be taken care of. Today I received a call from Renewal by Anderson to verify by install date. I am beyond livid. I told this person the same thing. She said she never received a cancellation notice. I can't believe how this company operates. No one is talking to anyone else. I even called corporate every time that I called the local office and no one has evidence that I ever called. This seems very underhanded and illegal to me. They will be hearing from my lawyer. I will tell everyone that I talk to, to not use this company for anything. Plus, their prices are outrageous. They now want $20,000.00 for two doors. Crazy expensive. They expect me to pay for their mistake. Even the loan company said that this was on them and I am not paying for anything from them. They were going to ask for their money back.

False Advertisments
I called to get somebody out to give me an estimate on replacing some storm doors off my upstairs patio master bedroom. I was told that unless I order the two main doors, they do not offer doing any storm doors even if my main doors are in excellent condition and I am very happy with them. All their advertisements make it sound like they are willing to do storm doors, but apparently not unless they make more money by doing your main doors. They should make sure that they include that policy of theirs or maybe not even offer storm doors. To me that’s false advertisement. If you are going to advertise doing storm doors, you have to include that only with the main doors.

My experience with Renewal by Andersen…
My experience with Renewal by Andersen has been extremely disappointing. When I first contacted the company in April about replacing a window, they were eager to come to my home, provide information, and move forward with the project. After I decided to purchase the window, the representative told me installation would take approximately 30 days. However, he never explained that a permit would need to be obtained through my town.
It is now August, and my window is not scheduled to be installed until the end of September. I ordered the window in April expecting to have it installed during the spring or summer, but the installation will now take place in the fall.
The communication throughout this process has been extremely poor. In June, I was told the delay was due to the town’s permits and plans. More recently, I received a call from a company called Permit Flow stating that they were trying to file the permit and needed a copy of my survey, as well as a notarized document. To me, that felt as if I was lied to because a permit hasn’t even been filed yet. When I contacted my representative, he told me those matters had already been handled. This left me even more confused. Who is Permit Flow? Why are they calling on behalf of Renewal by Andersen? Has my permit actually been filed? Unfortunately, I still have not received clear answers. I checked the towns data base and there is no filed permit on their website.
My representative has been responsive to my text messages, and I appreciate that. However, responding to messages is not the same as resolving a customer’s concerns. I was told that a supervisor would call me, but three days later, I still had not heard from anyone. I also called Renewal by Andersen’s 800 number directly and was told I would receive a callback within 24 to 48 hours. That was on Monday, and I am still waiting for a response.
The window will cost more than $20,000. My complaint is not about the price. I understood what I was purchasing and chose to move forward. My concern is the level of service and communication after the sale. The company was extremely responsive and eager when I was considering the purchase, but now that the order has been placed, I feel unable to get clear answers or speak with someone who can explain what is happening.
Overall, this has been a terrible experience. For a company and product at this price point, I expected much better customer service, communication, and follow-through. Based on my experience so far, if I had to do it all over again, I would never choose Renewal by Andersen.
If I knew it would take this long for a window I would have never moved forward with the process. I called to request a cancellation the other day and as I stated I still haven't heard from one person!
