God awful sales reps!
Was given a price that was about 500% higher than local installers, so declined. The sales rep literally said, "eh, not surprising - most people with rental properties don't care about their properties."

I don't have anything negative to say about the product, that I'm very happy with. My problem is their sales/contractor whom I made the purchase thru. My house has 10 year old vinyl siding and some was going to be needed in the installation of the new windows (2) this was agreed apon. We also agreed the replacement siding was not going to match, so siding was to be removed from the rear of the house to be used for better matching quality, that never came about. When the job was complete the new replacement siding was used and makes the whole job look like a sore thumb, like amatures had done it without reading what was agreed to do. I've complained to the contractor on several occasions, I've yet to receive a reply. I would think that follow up inquiries would be part of the quality concerns of the job but I guess not, not even from the manufacturer, I do not and will not recommend to anyone to make any purchases of any products by Anderson, their quality control is not there as evident in my unhappy story.

UPDATE: September came and Anderson arrived to replace the door a second time (3rd delivered door). The installers immediately stated this third door was again defective, it has scratches in the glass. They installed the third door anyway since this new one was not bent like the second. We were told to expect a telephone call to schedule a FOURTH door. That was nine days ago, no call received yet. Three defective doors in a row, it's been 9 months since our initial order. June review follows: Ordered a 96"x96" sliding door replacement in December 2025. Install was late March, 2026. That door had a 10" scratch between the glass panes in a very noticeable location. Second replacement was scheduled for late MAY 2026, this replacement had a bent frame, jams during operation and latch sticks -- is worse than the scratched door. Now we're rescheduled for mid SEPTEMBER 2026 for more repairs -- Anderson lacks the parts. I will not use Anderson again. The home's original sliding door was working better than what I have now and cost $12k less.

I once had a nice bay window installed it cost about 10k for one window, but it was a nice window. Some years go by and a New England storm blows out an attic window so I call my good friends at Renewal. The schoolmarm sounding woman on the phone informs me that "...we don't install windows, rather we are a home efficiency contractor." Well that made me sad that I chose to spend a lot of money in the past on a single window. I would never ever use them again, I would rather board up all my windows with plywood then add to the betterment of such awful people.

NO WARRANTY COVERAGE! There is no warranty coverage on Renewal by Andersen windows. Unlike with actual Anderson Windows. I got through to someone(Jacob Woodworth) and texted and e-mailed the photos and the sticker on the window almost a month ago and was told someone would get back to me and then I texted the same person every day for the next two weeks and got no reply. Then someone named Jade called and said someone would get back to me on the next business day and that was several days ago. And I've left messages every day this week and no reply. I think it's fair to say that there is no warranty coverage on renewal by Anderson Windows. I would recommend getting Anderson Windows installed by someone that is reputable. Definitely Not Renewal by Andersen Windows.

High pressure sales tactics for such an overly priced product. Confusing pricing with all the CRAZY discounts to "buy today." Absolutely zero communication skills. Sales consultant knocked the quality of another brand window on several of my windows. Received email from the local sales manager. I responded over a week ago and no response to date. The local number on his email directed me to their home office customer service in MN. Windows are extremely expensive probably because of all the national television commercials. After reading numerous reviews, which I should have done before scheduling the appointment, i concur that this is an AWFUL company to deal with. My entire career was in the automotive business and with all the bad raps sales people get in the industry they pale compared to what I experienced with Renewal. In the first 10 minutes of the appointment the sales person wanted to know if we could commit today. Outrageous sales tactic.

Had a dozen windows replaced by Pella over 10 years ago. All still look gorgeous. Several years ago we let Renewal by Anderson replace another window. Their price was same as Pella’s. The Renewal by Anderson window is a complete eyesore. The installation process was a nightmare. Took 2 windows to get it right. If not for caulk, it would be useless. The color is now fading and components are warping, resulting in the ugliest window on our well kept home. I see their commercials on TV and know firsthand the depth of their incompetence.

I signed up to get a quote for windows while I was at a street fair earlier this month over the Labor weekend. They were supposed to come to my house a week later, but I had to cancel due to a family emergency. Because this was going to take a couple of months to resolve, I asked them not to contact me. until I called them back. Regardless, they have pestered me with more phone calls and text messages. I asked him to stop, but he has not stop. Needless to say, they are very unprofessional with their marketing. Having read other posts on Trustpilot, and dealing with their unprofessional marketing, I told them that I would not purchase their windows.
