Worst bank ever. My card was skimmed, then within 30 days. My account had been fraudulent 4 times they did nothing to prevented. But send me extra debit cards that did not arrive and then they canceled those. It took 4 tries to get a debit card. There wasn't getting frauded when I got my stimulus. I was overdrawn in my account and two days passed the thirty day overdrawn limit and they sent my stimulus back to washington. I had a fraud claim. I had several fraud claims. Because I shop online and I was getting ripped off on apparel that I was buying and they initially refused to credit. My account until I showed them pictures and proof that I was being ripped off. I actually had to report them to the consumer financial products board.. When I say this is the worst bank, you could possibly employ in texas.I mean, it is absolutely hands down the worst bank.You could possibly get in texas.

I have been banking with RBFCU for years. Unfortunately, I’m considering changing banks due to their lack of support for their customers. Recently, I had funds stolen from my account. The fraud department did notify me, however, once the information was received and from my understanding resolved, I received a letter in the mail that they were going to reverse the fraudulent charges. I checked my account this morning, and indeed these fraudulent charges were reversed on my account and therefore I’m being held accountable for them. The charges were based in Las Vegas (I’m no where near LV) and with my old bank card, which the information was stolen. They did issue me a new card. You would think they had all the evidence to prove these charges were fraudulent and in fact they reached out to me that the charges were suspicious, and yet, they reverse them?! This is complete negligence and unethical on their part!! I’m definitely looking at other bank institutions to keep my funds to avoid this happening again.

Extremely difficult to get loan from these people my advice avoid the hard inquiry on your credit and go somewhere else

On 4/17/2026, $2980.00 was stolen from my RBFCU account. Even though RBFCU says they provide NCUA insurance, they have denied reimbursement. They have said the facts show I clicked “ALLOW” to approve the transaction on a text they sent me. This is NOT TRUE. I never even saw the texts as I was in deep conversation with “their fraud dept representative”. They want me to believe someone could have called me from their number but they won’t believe that the same someone could have hacked and taken over my phone! My facts are that I received a text from RBFCU followed by a call from their phone # 210-945-3300 (the same # they alway and continuously call me from). Their rep proceeded to guide me to make transactions geared toward stopping and preventing the continued fraud being attempted on my account. When I immediately tried to call RBFCU fraud dept to verify I was talking to them, my hold time was 58 min/58 sec. They finally called me back 1 1/2 hours later from the same # 210-945-3300 they have always and continue to call me from. These facts lead me to believe it was RBFCU who stole my money! This bank in which I’ve been a member for 14 years has accused me of being complicit in a crime. I have all my money with these people. I have had car loans, home equity loans, cds, money market accounts, checking and saving accounts. I have excellent credit including a well above average credit score. But they are insinuations that I am a thief. They used to be an excellent company but no more. Please stay far away if you want your money to be safe!

Bought a car. Submitted all documents. Later, they sign me up for insurance for a company I never heard of. Don't work with this bank!

I have been a customer of RBFCU credit cards for more than three years. I have always paid on time, fulfilled all my obligations, and until now had never filed a claim. This was my very first dispute. I was double charged at Cinemark for the exact same amount, on the same day and at the same time. When I filed a claim with RBFCU Credit Card Services, they told me the dispute would not be approved and refused to refund my money. The amount was small, but the issue is the lack of support for loyal customers. What kind of trust can you have in a bank that does not stand behind you in the first claim you make after years of responsible use and punctual payments? I do not recommend it. I would rather bank with institutions that truly support their customers when situations like this happen, especially when someone is clearly charged twice by mistake.

I was told to contact member services because was told RBFCU cared about a over 50 year member charged a $12 fee so they would rather lose a member then give a courtesy fee. WONDER IF THEIR BOARD OF DIRECTORS WOULD AGREE??? THEN WASTED MY TIME TELLING ME TO CONTACT THEM ONLY TO BE TOLD SAME THING!

I am compelled to express my serious dissatisfaction with the level of service provided by the Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union branch in Floresville. I deposited a check and was informed there would be a 7-day hold; however, I was also told that funds are typically made available within approximately 2 business days. I am now on day 6, and the funds remain unavailable with absolutely no communication, explanation, or update. In an effort to get answers, I contacted customer service and was told I would receive a callback within 2 business days. This is entirely unacceptable given the delay already experienced. At this point, I have been left without access to my funds and without any meaningful response as to why. The lack of transparency, urgency, and accountability demonstrated by this branch is deeply concerning. Customers should not have to chase down basic information regarding their own money. The absence of follow-through and communication reflects a significant failure in customer service standards. If you are looking for a reputable and responsive financial institution, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Based on my experience, you would be better off going in the opposite direction.
