Good quality rope made in the USA
I'm editing this review from a previous one. I originally thought the shipping price was a bit high, but when I received the box, it was sent USPS Priority Mail 2-day. The flat rate box costs I was charged are about in line with what USPS charges. My original impression was that they were charging too much. Again, this was my impression. Perhaps we are so use to Amazon offering free shipping that we balk at any shipping charges. My only suggestion would to make the shipping a bit more transparent instead of just showing the price. If I knew this was going out Priority Mail, it would have made more sense. A cheaper option would also have been nice but it is what it is. The response from my original review from the company caught me a bit off guard, however. Instead of simply stating that they charge what USPS charges them, they told me that: "The shipping cost is shown in your cart prior to paying. If you did not agree with the shipping fee, you could have simply emptied your cart and not purchased the items." Perhaps it's just me or how I'm reading this, but this comes off a bit snippy. Of course I knew the cost before I payed and I knew that I did not have to purchase the items. This was all clear to me. Regardless, its important to give a fair review of the items and not get caught up in petty back and forth so I came back here to update my review. The rope is high quality and well made. Shipping, is fast (two day!). The main thing that distinguishes this company from another is where the rope is made. I specifically sought out a US manufacturer and was pleasantly surprised that I found one close by in NC. The fact that US vets are involved makes it a huge plus. This is after looking for similar rope at home improvement and craft stores. Yes, they have it there and the prices are cheaper and w/o shipping but they are made overseas and I was not impressed with the quality. So, I was willing to pay a bit more for a US made product. This was my second purchase and I intend to return when I need more.

12/02 Updated Hi Keith, We appreciate the time you took, to update your rating and feedback. We apologize, if the original reply sounded snippy, as we sincerely did not intend it to be taken that way. We shipped your package USPS Priority Mail, which is often used to send packages weighing up to 70lbs. It’s prioritized first before standard mail. If your package would have weighed less than 3.5 ounces, it would have been sent First Class. The main difference is in the size of the packages that can be delivered via each service. First class mail is limited to smaller packages that weigh less than 3.5 ounces, while Priority Mail can include packages that weigh up to 70 lbs. We hope this explanation helps. Again, thank you for your business! Our teams work hard to ensure customer satisfaction, and we sincerely look forward to serving you again in the future. Best Regards, Customer Support Team ======================== Hello Keith, We are disappointed to see this review. The shipping cost is shown in your cart prior to paying. If you did not agree with the shipping fee, you could have simply emptied your cart and not purchased the items. Thank you for your business. Regards, Customer Support
