Racknerd offers VPS's to suit all needs at rates which are the best I have seen in the market (as low as 1/6th of the equivalent).
Getting the service was easy and I received my sever details within minutes.
There is good information on site. Chat, e-mail and support response is quick and efficient.
The server works well and meets all my expecations at the level purchased. I used mine for a personal VPN and have no problems running videos up to 4K. Download speeds are the same as dedicated VPN plans 6+ times the price (and I know there are no logs). There is also an individual IPv4 which avoids the possibility of a black listing I have experienced on a VPN's due to sharing the VPN.
For me, I tested at one grade for 2 weeks and purchased a second higher grade server 2 weeks later. (And after buying 2 servers, one of which will become a personal, advert free, search engine, I have still saved a significant amount on the alternatives I was reviewing.)
At this point, I don't see a reason I will not be renewing indefinitely.
Based on my experience, I recommend RackNerd.

The Best & Affordable VPS Service Provider
You can't judge a book by its cover.
The brain behind RacKNerd team & how things were put together is exceptional.
They think out of the box.
So many out there but this is the best VPS service provider with affordable price & they don't cut edges. There's no shortcut with this company.
They gave you the tools, hardware & software, you put it together yourself.
Overall to make their service work for you?...
You have to think like the team.
Thank You RackNerd Team.

Good price, but unstable for production
I've been a customer for about three months and I've been affected by the same problems Zack Heisenberg described in his review. I'm renting a 2GB VPS from Racknerd with KVM virtualization at a good price.
So far the VPS has spontaneously rebooted every ~20 days, and after each of these spurious reboots all NodeJS processes that normally are auto-started during boot were found not running, and therefore the VPS had to be manually rebooted once more to properly restore its working status. The same software and config files had been running on a different VPS provider for around a decade without such problems. This could be caused by an OOM condition triggered by the KVM "steal" feature, causing a shortage of memory persistent across reboots.
Response from RackNerdAug 10, 2023
Hello Davide,
It appears this is a repost of a review you shared back in November 2022? Since then, we have not been made aware of any further issues, and to our knowledge, you have not maintained any active service with us since. We welcome open communication if there is still anything outstanding to discuss, just e-mail us at bizdev[@]racknerd[dot]com and we'd be happy to help.
For clarity, we've included our previous response from November 2022 below. To recap, our analysis indicated the issue stemmed from your specific configuration. Despite offering an unmanaged service, our team had provided suggestions to assist you at that time.

Original Response Below:
Hi @davide -- appreciate you following up. I was able to pull up your account, and in the one and only support ticket I am able to see under your account (let me know if I'm mistaken, or if you may have created a ticket from a different email, etc), it looks like our team had reached out to you as a follow up (but we did not hear back from you after our response on July 7), suggesting that you may have OOM'd as a result of the applications running within your VPS. You mentioned here you purchased an expansion/upgrade pack, but I am not seeing any upgrades or addons purchased, your VPS is still intact with the original included amount of RAM with the package nor do I see any communication within your account related to purchasing an upgrade. In your ticket, you mentioned some concerns about your VM utilizing swap space, and I do see that our team followed up and made some suggestions for you with regards to optimizing your vm.swappiness level from within your VM's operating system level. By default most Linux distributions have the vm.swappiness level at 60, and also keep in mind https://www.linuxatemyram.com/ - so it is normal for some swap usage to be utilized unless you specifically notate otherwise in the vm.swappiness level within your OS.
Furthermore, I just personally checked the node your VPS resides on (DAL107KVM) and do not see any current issues nor any resource contention (this node actually looks to be pretty quiet in terms of resource utilization). Even still we'd like to work with you on a resolution path here, if you don't mind, ultimately we're only happy if our customers are happy, so let's work together on identifying an amicable solution.

I have recently migrated my hosting…
I have recently migrated my hosting services to RackNerd, and I am currently testing a KVM VPS as well. My website is a simple personal site used for testing and experimentation, and it does not involve high traffic, large databases, or any complex setups like Docker or Kubernetes.
Since the migration, I have been actively monitoring my website's uptime and I am pleased to report that there hasn't been a single minute of downtime so far. RackNerd's support team has impressed me with their expertise and responsiveness, promptly addressing any issues or queries I've encountered.
While the overall support experience has been great, I encountered a slight disappointment when a support person requested my private IP to unblock me from the firewall. As someone technically inclined, I expected them to seek my public IP instead, as a private IP of mine should not have any relevance in this context. I believe having a support team with a deep understanding of networking nuances would enhance the overall customer experience.
I appreciate that RackNerd caters to tech-savvy users like myself, providing unmanaged server solutions specifically tailored for enthusiasts. Their slogan, "for nerds by nerds," resonates with me, evoking a sense of community and shared passion for technology.
In conclusion, my experience with RackNerd has been positive overall, and I highly recommend their services to fellow tech enthusiasts seeking a reliable and expert-driven hosting solution.(The ONLY Catch is, Are you "nerd enough" to handle a unmanaged server.)

Great experience with RackNerd!
I've been using RackNerd for about a year now, running two different KVM servers. My experience with the company and their team has been exceptional. 100% server uptime and great customer service in 3 instances where I reached for a question or an upgrade! My go-to provider.

At first
At first, I had doubts, but their cheapest VPS plan works perfectly. For just $12 a year, I get 1GB of VPS – it's perfect for my needs!
