Low-cost and reliable web hosting

I switched to RackNerd because I had a…
I switched to RackNerd because I had a lot of issues with my old provider. I have a web hosting plan with RackNerd that I use for my small projects, so I don't need absolute power and speed. However, since I moved everything, I immediately noticed that my sites had much faster responsiveness compared to the other hosting. The support is friendly and quick to respond to any questions. I would definitely recommend it.

Not allowed to change password and/or username
I recently subscribed to a VPS yearly plan and got an email from Racknerd with the log in details to my server (that I immediately changed) and the log in details (username and password) for the SolusVM server Control Panel that I cannot change! Yes, you get the credentials by email and you are not allowed to change them. This is bad for my server security. Weird.

Hi Jimi -- Thank You so much for choosing RackNerd as your provider! We appreciate your business. Just to clarify - we certainly do allow the ability to update your credentials. If you're referring to the SolusVM Control Panel, you should be able to update the password either by doing a "forgot password" reset - or by logging into it, and clicking on your profile/name on the top right-hand corner. Root password can be updated yourself either via SSH using the "passwd" command or via the SolusVM control panel too. Low-budget high-quality and top-support!
Racknerd had a great offer for a small VPS for a tiny yearly price, and I decided to give it a try. I am truly amazed at how much you can get, in terms of functionality and support, for such a low price. Despite being in the Black Friday season, support replied within minutes, including allowing me to install a custom NetBSD ISO on my VPS. I can recommend Racknerd for a low-budget high-quality VPS, including top, human, support.
