I feel very fortunate to have met Ray Duran and his exceptional team to help me refinance a property I have owned for 18 years. They were extremely helpful, responsive and professional in assisting me with this loan. They were straight shooters right from the start and I now feel like they are my friends! One more thing to mention is that the entire process from start to finish took less than 40 days. I could not have been more impressed.

The Quontic team was Great. Kurt was my originator helping me understand the various loan options I had and what was the best for me. He was with me all the way thru even after the closing checking on me making sure I got into my new home. Jon who processed the paperwork required for the loan approval was efficient and clearly explained things in a manner that anyone could understand. He got me to loan approval and made sure I had a smooth closing. The estimate of closing cost and funds needed given by Kurt originally were very close to what the final figure at closing was, so no surprises. Amazing Job by all. I am so thankful I found the Quontic Team. They are the best. I highly recommend them.

Quontic is nice when you open a money market account, but after they have your money it is very hard to do business (and this is not readily made known when you open it). I linked a checking account from another bank and opened the account with a smaller amount than I intended to deposit. When I attempted to send more money the same way, I learned (only by calling) you are locked out of more deposits for 30 days. When I attempted to withdraw/transfer the same way, the site keeps saying your transfer exceeds their limits, but you have to guess at the limit. In calling the bank I learned their policy is $2,000 per day limit and only $10,000 per month. Not good if you want to use the money for a purchase like a car. You can do a wire-but this is a $10 fee which just rubs me the wrong way-paying a fee to get my money back. On the positive side, they are well staffed and answer the phone with knowledgeable service reps. But this is little consolation-I would prefer to have a reasonable method to 1) know the policies and 2) reasonable limits to get my money because-they had no trouble taking much larger amounts. Finally, I have not had such trouble with other on-line institutions.
