Deceptively easy to apply for the checking account. I usually do not like online only checking accounts because there is no one to answer questions or channel discussions.

The process was longer than anticipated and fraught with emotion, but our lending agent Todd Wilkerson was a true champion. He was by our side each step of the way and I knew we had someone truly working for US to make our home buying dream come true. This was our first house and both my husband and I work for ourselves so we didn't fit the traditional homebuyers model, Todd worked tirelessly to support us achieving our goal. At the end of the process we are happily settled in our first home!

I made a call to Quontic after searching for online mortgage lenders. I have great credit and had cash on hand for a large down payment. My family had just moved 1500 miles, I didn't currently have a job and my wife had just started a new part time position (she also has great credit). All of the normal mortgage services and banks we spoke with said that even though our credit was good and we had enough cash on hand to make a down payment and make mortgage payments for 10 months we didn't qualify because I didn't have a job and part time jobs have to be worked for 2 years to count as income. Quontic saved the day by looking at our credit history and cash on hand! It was perfect and now we're in the house. Kurt was awesome and even checked in after closing.
