I have owned cats all my life, but never went through a professional breeder. I wasn’t sure what to expect. But wow. The transparency and care from the very beginning made me feel at ease. It was smooth and honestly kinda emotional when she arrived.

Your site doesnt offer background information for the breeders themselves.There is no proof that your breeders are legal and uphold the best breeding standards. Just cause the site says they are. Doesn’t mean it’s true. You need more transparency with the breeder. I should be able to know where the animal is cared for. Also should know the person caretaking for the animals

Just as a follow up to my reviews in November…. We have just taken our Main Coon to get fixed… they wouldnt do the procedure as they had discovered he had cardiomyopathy …. A disease that is genetic and could and should have been picked up in vet exam early on…(ore purchase) Yet, Purebred Kitties maintain all their cats are checked out. Well, I don't believe our little guy was… I have not contacted Purebred Kitties directly as there will be no point… they will not offer help or compensation for a cat that may not live very long… Like I said before BUYER BE VERY AWARE The whole family are heart broken… Thanks Purebred Kitties… Shame on you

While cardiomyopathy is a rare but serious genetic condition, we want to clarify that all of our kittens are examined by licensed veterinarians before leaving the breeder’s care, and we require thorough health checks and certifications before any kitten is rehomed. Unfortunately, certain genetic conditions—especially those that can develop later—may not always be detectable in early exams. I had so many doubts. The internet’s full of scammy breeders and it’s hard to know who to trust. But this felt different. The communication, the details, the calm delivery—all of it gave me peace of mind. The kitten that arrived is clearly loved and well raised.

I am very happy with my Maine coon, but it was quite a frustrating experience towards the end. I initially started browsing purebredkitties because the shelters in my area were very difficult to work with/get ahold of, and I always wanted a Maine coon. I ended up falling in love with a kitten and put in the application. The application and follow up were so easy and Kim was very friendly and helpful with how to reserve my kitty. I received weekly videos of her and Kim answered questions I had as they came up. When it was time for my cat to come home is when issues arose. I received a text that they had a flight available the next week on 04/01/2025, asked what airport I preferred, and got details about how to pick her up in the terminal. On 04/01/2025 I got a text that they had a flight available for my kitty. I was very confused and upset since we had texted the prior week about her flight. I spoke with Kim and the team member that reached out about the flight had never scheduled it. Kim had noticed while looking over things that day, which is why I was sent another available flight text. This was obviously upsetting as I had taken off work to ensure that I could pick her up as the airport is over an hour away from me and I wasn't going to have my cat that day. I also had to cancel the vet visit I set up since my cat was not going to be here until the afternoon the next day. Kim scheduled the flight for the following day while I was on the phone with her and assured me that she would send updates as she got them. She sent me paperwork to fill out but I ended up going into work since I could not get my cat and didn't look at it until later that night. I could not figure out what needed to be filled out and I didn't know if I needed to take any of the paperwork to the airport. I tried emailing, texting, and calling, but could not get ahold of Kim as she had already clocked out. The next day I tried reaching out again, but Kim does not work Wednesdays and no one in the call center could help me, I was only told that no one from Kim's team was available. At that point I was angry because I did not know if these forms would hold up my cat from being able to be released to me and no one at Purebrekitties was able to help me because Kim was off. I finally received a call from Kim just after 12:30, a couple hours before my cat was due to land at the airport, to sort out that the paperwork was not needed to pick my cat up. I am incredibly happy with the cat I received from Purebrekitties. She is such a loving and playful cat that has adapted perfectly to her new home. The samples for the vet have come back good so far and she doesn't seem to have any issues so I hope/think the first vet checkup in a couple weeks will go well too. Most of the buying experience was very smooth and easy and the issue with the flight was resolved with only a 24 hour delay from the original expected flight. Knowing now how the process works and what to expect, I will get my next Maine coon from them.
