My puppy has been sick since she came to us.

My 2nd Great Dane puppy from PuppySpot. The first is now almost 3 years old and is adored by all. The latest just tugged at my heart. I looked at her for months wondering why no one wanted to adopt this beautiful puppy. I finally did it! PuppySpot team went out of their way to ensure she arrived safely. Because she was 6 months old, she was too large to fly so they had to transport her by ground. They kept me informed every step of the way until she arrived safely. She's home now and after a week of being a little timid, she's fitting right in with the "pack", and such a good puppy she is too.

Worst website. They over charge you. I was lucky enough to find the breeder for the puppy they had on their website that was marked up $1000 PLUS A "PICK UP FEE" TO PICK UP SAID PUPPY than from what the breeder was selling for directly. WORST PLACE TO BUY A PUPPY. Just check with breeders in your area its alway better to work with the breeder directly because I got a dog that was priced $2450 but got the very SAME listed dog directly from the breeder by chance on their personal website for $800 plus a delivery fee of $300 to bring them TO ME. This place is aweful, its like a car dealership for dogs. DO NOT BUY HERE. Reply to their comment : most breeders have a health guarantee with their dogs. Barkworks had one too. It didn’t stop them from selling puppy mill dogs with tons of health problems. Leading health guarantees my butt. It’s not worth the extra 1-2k costs you put on the dog when you can just buy health insurance for your dog for less.

Jess - While there are certainly less expensive avenues to find a puppy, we're confident that there is no better place to find a furry family member than at PuppySpot. Not only can it be challenging enough to find a responsible breeder who specializes in the breed you’re looking for, but it can be even more challenging to find one located near you. PuppySpot handles all the research for you, so you can focus on what really matters – preparing your home for your new best friend. Knowing that each customer has a unique set of needs, we utilize a hands-on, personalized approach to provide guidance throughout the entire placement process. Our team’s support includes: managing breeder conversations, handling all research and vetting, confirming completion of nose-to-tail veterinary examinations before and after a puppy leaves his or her breeder’s care, and coordinating all travel arrangements prior to the puppy’s arrival in his or her forever home and continued support throughout your journey as a puppy parent. Additionally, we offer an industry-leading health guarantee on all of our puppies, which we encourage you to read more about, here: https://www.puppyspot.com/guarantee/

We have didn't receive the vet exam from PuppySpot showing that the puppy had a Redundant Vulva until after we had received her. . We were very disappointed to see this on her vet paperwork. We had asked multiple times for her vet paperwork PRIOR to receiving her, but never got it. The breeder stated she had sent paperwork to PuppySpot days prior to puppy being shipped. We only got her paperwork when she arrived, attached to her kennel. At this time the vet didn't see any issues as a result of the redundant vulva, but did advise us that it could cause problems in the future and may need to be surgically corrected in that case. We feel that this information was purposely withheld by PuppySpot before shipping the puppy. At a $2,000 cost for the puppy, we would expect to receive a puppy with zero defects or at least be made aware and given the choice whether or not to move forward with the purchase of her. We also did not even have her flight paperwork from PuppySpot until 2.5 hours before she arrived and we were the ones who had to keep calling to be sure we had it to pick her up. (her second scheduled arrival btw) The puppy was only a 2 hour plane ride from us, yet she was put on plane in the morning and we were not able to receive her until 9:30pm. The vet did mention at her size and age, this could have been fatal for her. PuppySpot may want to consider better communication/disclosure/transportation. To put a live animal at risk of illness or death to save a few bucks is really disgusting. We would never consider purchasing a puppy from PuppySpot again.

The steps that involved helping us select our puppy were taken care of with great care and diligence. I am VERY happy with that portion of the service. After our Puppy had been selected and the transaction completed, communication from PuppySpot was a bit uncoordinated on their end. It was a bit harder than I feel it should have been to get updates shared to all parties. The iOS app helped, but that too needs some work. In short, I would definitely recommend PuppySpot to anyone looking for a good way to locate a reputable breeder, just bear in mind that communication with them isn't as easy as it could be.
