As a therapist who uses this service... I've been repeatedly frustrated with them. Most recently, they do not have an option for listing in multiple states. They tell me I would have to create a whole new profile for each state. I don't appreciate having to do more work and pay more money for something that should be a quick and easy technical update from there end... and will become more important as mental health becomes less restricted by state lines and more accessible. Also, some unexpected and unclear charges have occured.

Scam, stay away! I had paid subscription of magazine for a half year, they wrote it will take 10-12 weeks for foreign subscribers, after 2 months or so I have contacted them, naturally I didn't get any response and my money went missing.

As a clinician, Psychology Today is a horrible service that borders on unethical in its business practices. They lure you in for a "free trial" listing on their therapist list, then charge you monthly for doing nothing. Then they make it very difficult to cancel your subscription. Stay away.

Stay away. When utilizing their feedback form to report not only an abusive therapist but one who mocks child and sexual abuse shared in confidence all while physically threatening me. They told me basically its not their problem. They are completely negligent. Counselors are held to very specific standards regarding professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality. Her name is Christine Stidem in florida, Orlando specifically. RUN

I did some sessions for quite some time with a reviewed therapist on here. Her name was Martina Bador. She broke confidentiality and was very careless. Ive been extremely unwell for many years because of this. This company needs a lot of improving:(

I have had numerous Psychiatrist's over the years and first time ever, I finally found someone to actually listen to me. A huge thank you to Nicole Bush for her patience and understanding me and my situation. My anxiety levels and PTSD episodes were so out of control that I started to shut down entirely but, I found Nicole and after just 2 sessions she helped me learn the coping skills that I desperately needed to learn in order to manage my anxiety. Most definitely recommend seeing her at Norman Psychiatry. If you are weary and don't trust going to a Psychiatrist thinking it won't help you or think nobody understands what you're going through, then atleast trust the patient reviews and see for yourself. It's all there in black and white. Go see Nicole!!

Whatever you do, do NOT go to see Paul S James. I don't know who gave this guy a degree but he is absolutely a waste of money. He gives therapists a bad name and will completely ruin your confidence of reaching out to a therapist. He charges an absolute insane amount and provides no feedback will just sit there repeating everything youve said. And "hmming" as well. He lacks everything a therapist should and should surrender his license.
