Avoid LaMont Hail from Twin Image Counseling Services. Do not trust. His conduct is completely unethical and unprofessional. He was totally dishonest and deceitful. I regret giving his services a chance.

I was looking for a therapist YESTERDAY, kinda hard to told in my area, and found this website. I put my number in 3 times to request consultations with 3 of the therapists. All day today, I've been getting spammed by auto quote companies. ALL DAY.

I am a therapist and I have been on Psychology Today for years, and today I wanted to add a group I am working on and there was a glitch. I did finally find a random # of someone in their magazine, and an email after continuing to struggle.

Very good and constructive. I did about 6 sessions with Tim Cobb, all were very good and helpful for my sprinting.

Something is...wrong with PT platform these days. As a therapist with a profile as well as client looking for a therapist more than once, it seems there's a breakdown in actually connecting prospective clients with therapists. Take a look at any Reddit post on this topic (it's a lot to type), but the experiences are common and very similar. Something's amiss. Standing out to me the most is that "Big Box" therapy like BetterHelp, Rula and the like are the ones who sometimes end up reaching back out to clients--many ppl have shared experiences leaving a vm for 15+ therapists and never hearing back EXCEPT from say, a rep from Grow or TalkSpace. I don't, for a second, think that many therapists are not calling clients back. I know I'm not one of them. My profile says I have 60 contacts but I believe I've been in touch with 5. As a client, only one out of 8 therapist called me back. Many therapists have said they've been on this platform for years and it was their main source of clients until about a year or two ago and it's essentially dried up--but if ppl ARE looking for therapists and therapists ARE looking for people...how can this be?

I’m a nurse practitioner who somehow wound up with a Psychology Today profile — presumably, my former employer signed me up. I’m no longer working in healthcare and have been trying to remove my profile from the internet but there’s no phone number to contact and I’m left communicating with bots via email who keep sending me invalid links to authenticate myself.
