Never Ever sign up with Psychology Today as a therapist. Once they have you they will bill you forever. I have paid monthly for 8 years and received perhaps one client from that listing. Now I want to cancel and no matter how hard you look for a way to do that, it cannot be done. Any directions you find online will not work. Psychology Today, as a company, has no desire to hear from you, no compassion for the frustration of being unable to get help, and no respect for you as a therapist. To remain unreachable is clear evidence of a lack of all the things we value as therapists.

I am a therapist who has registered with PT and paid, and received no serious clients, only spam calls. Not sure what this platform is for but it seems serious clients also have bad experiences! Avoid.

Sent three emails to 3 different people no reply. Nothing . Horrible. Mental health is real and these Drs rather would prescribe or don't take insurance and make u pay money that a lot of us don't have. I do NOT recommend at all. They do not care about patient health.

This site is plagued with fake people who will hurt you! They do not care about you at all! They only want your money!

I am with Debra in her views and Jordan’s. Can’t understand why the scam keeps going on and people are using all the fraud forms and documents in psychology. Fraud certificates seem to happen all over. It’s a good think people are cracking down on that. Marry who you want, wear what you want, work where you want and wear whatever makeup you want, along with have babies with who you want (The Royal Way of Life). Remember who your family is.

I can’t find a psychologist. You can’t search for a doctoral level therapist. They need a better search function

Hello i live in Australia. I was searching for a psychologist who works with insomnia sleep anxiety . I found one who works via telehealth through psychology today. I contacted her. She replied. She does NOT live in Australia at all. In another country!! I asked her to send me her qualifications as I am very skeptical. I also cant claim anything via .y health fund as I can't find her registered within Australia! Has anyone heard of or actually had co sults with this lady. Maria Del Pillar Pastoriza? Id love to hear.

I've just read an article on Pedophilia in Psychology Today and was appalled by the way the author continually insisted that it was men only thing, that there was essentially no way a woman ever would. As a man who was regularly abused by a woman from the age of 5, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that pedophilia is most defiantly prevalent among both sexes. In fact, the reason for my web search today was due to me walking in a friends' 17-year-old daughter preforming a sexual act on a 2-year-old boy. Something which she admitted to doing often. Sighting that, it was just their little secret, and that no harm was being done. Which is, as you know, the favorite line of every pedophile from around the world. "It's just our little secret" How the editor and publishers could allow such blatant sexism is unfathomable to me.
