I am a therapist and I have been on Psychology Today for years, and today I wanted to add a group I am working on and there was a glitch. I did finally find a random # of someone in their magazine, and an email after continuing to struggle.

More providers should specify what insurance they accept so proper don’t waste time -started with a provider-we has some misconceptions on times-after I had worked up to opening up, she have an ultimatum on my care which was a trigger and now I’m starting all over . For this reason I do not recommend Darcy Arnall. It takes a lot to ask for therapy and start to be open-horrible experience

PsyToday is a great marketing site that seems to have lost credibility over the years - especially when they decided to start listing temp-licensed and interns in a way that does not draw direct attention to that difference. Far too many people have been directed to these people who have little to no experience. Additionally, listing clinicians can claim whatever specialty they like - with no proof or metric to determine any level of mastery in that area. Highly misleading to the public.
