Our external hard drive would not work. I was scared all the pictures and files were lost because it was broken. So I found Proven Data had a high success rate and gave it a try. Turns out everything was recoverable! I was updated every step of the way with what was happening and what they were going to do. The responses kind of felt automated rather than an actual person actually talking to you, but it was nice talking to the Fearless Support Team. For my case (mechanical and electronic failure), the price was okay, not the best. I feel I could have paid less if I looked elsewhere. But overall, very happy with the service and would recommend Proven Data to recover just about anything!

We are glad to hear we were able to recover your data, Amanda! I can definitely understand how stressful it can be when an external hard drive that stores pictures stops working.Thank you for choosing Proven Data, and for allowing us the privilege of helping you get back your photos! Many thanks, Lori Holloway

Even with a corruption in the operating system of my Mac, PD was able to recover most of my lost data. You may think it's pricey, but if you want your data back from a great company, use PD. Hats off to PD. Todd

This is an exceptional company! From the moment I called, anxious and upset, the representative on phone assured me that my external hard drive would be in good hands and was most likely fixable. I even insisted on dropping it off personally because I was too scared to put it in the mail. They gave me constant updates to ease my anxiety and when I received the email indicating that my data had been recovered, they understood how happy and relieved I was. As if that wasn't enough, their in-house recovery was considerably cheaper than the recovery quote of the company that manufactured my external hard drive. I can't recommend this company enough! They will take care of you.

I found this process impersonal and difficult. Also the external hard drive with my information I haven't been able to open it. I plugged into my new laptop but couldn't open it. I can open another external drive I had but not the one you gave me. Too complicated! Now I have to call you again, and figure out how to download my information. I am delighted you were able to retrieve my information, but I found the process without direct contact with real people difficult. Sorry.

Their service was amazing and cheap. They were able to recover 100% of my data out of my 2 TB broken drive, almost 10 years of memories in that drive. They were the cheapest option out there, and I am glad I choose them. Great communication and hand holding through the entire process. I will definitely use their service again.

It was our pleasure to help, and we understand handholding is important during the anxious time of not being sure what the outcome will be with your data.
