Proven Data LLCReviews of provendatarecovery.com

Everything work great Except an important issue that we couldn’t recover the SQL server data which was clearly informed from the beginning it is very important (60% weight importance) and later I asked for discount but no discount happened but of course we can’t ignore that everything else recovered (95% of data)

Great bunch of folks! The work and ransom negotiation were expertly handled. The client and I were kept informed at every step and when the data was finally decrypted, everything worked perfectly.

I never thought my portable hard drive would fail on me - but it did. After searching online for hard drive repairs, Proven Data was one of the first results that came up - and it helped that they were local. I brought my hard drive into their Soho office one morning (they really should change their operating hours listed online), and received a diagnosis within two days. I expected it to be a simple and inexpensive repair , and received a complex and technical diagnosis, with a shocking four figure repair bill. I originally wanted to say no, I didn't want to spend ANYWHERE NEAR that much money, but the contents in it were priceless, and totaled as much. I expressed my sticker shock in an email to them, and received an answer that said my insurance may cover the cost of it, that I didn't know I would have. Proven Data updated me regularly on the progress of the repair, and I got back all my data in a new hard drive that arrived very quickly. So in the end, the cost of the repair was worth it.

Your company responded promptly to our situation as well as resolving all issues in a timely fashion. We appreciate you service.

Although I never met with the tech guys, they kept me informed on the progress of my data recovery and actually recovered some important data that i lost when i accidently installed a new operating system on my imac. Because i never made a backup of my hard drive due to laziness, I had to use Proven Data. At least there is someone who can help recover some of your lost data. Thanx

Proven Data was easy to deal with, efficient, and they recovered a good chunk of data from my laptop that had a failed hard drive. I was particularly pleased PD was able to retrieve all of my music, 650 albums, over 6,500 songs. Thank you.

Very easy, reception was a bit distant but overall a positive experience.

We are a small critical care hospital in the mountains, I was recommended by someone else that they would do a Great job! The first thing we did was install teamviewer so they could login and get to your server. next they put a utility on the desk top. Since this was a Shared File server it is available by all nodes attached to the network. this meant that all antivirus needed to be shut down on each and every node on the network , pretty hard to do when you are working 24/7. I do wonder because they took the ransom letter if they didn't get the decrypt password and installed it in the utility. I haven't got the answer on that yet. I do give them a 4 star rating because they did get us up and running, But we are still dealing with a lot of encrypted files .
